The global warming is now being considered to be the only cause and challenge for the environmental protection. Many environmental activists have provided how the global warming is going to affect the environment, as they have all come to the same conclusion about the fact that the global warming is really going to affect the earthly environment, where the extent of its harmfulness will keep increasing with due respect of time. The main purpose of this paper is to provide different explanations about how the environment will affected by the global warming. The paper will help the readers in forming their individualized opinions about the global warming after thoroughly studying this research report. The earth is warming at a fastest pace in the history of this world. history suggests that there has never been recorded such a huge climatic change since the last 1000 years as has been experienced in the last 60 or 70 years. The scientists have provided many reasons about how this planet is becoming such a warmer place, and the key reason for this has been observed to be the industrial boom that has been experienced wider since the past 80 years. The important role in affecting the environment and promoting the global warming is played by the human being himself. Even if we know the factors which affect the environment badly, we are still committing the similar mistakes since the beginning of 20th century. Global warming is actually the cause of the increased use of the greenhouse gases. CO2 is the one example that is affecting the environment, as the increased amount of this gas is being extricated into the atmosphere. Therefore, another aim of this report is to provide the indications of the global warming and that it is really and evidently happening around us. The paper will take two approaches, scientific, and sociological, to highlight the arguments of those who are causing global warming to happen, and those who are getting affected by the global warming. The natural greenhouse of earth: The temperature of the planet earth is actually controlled through two factors, which must be naturally balanced, and an imbalance would cause the earth to get warmer or colder (Maslin, 2007). The one factor is the input of energy of the sun, and the second factor is concerned with the loss of the same solar energy that is reflected back into the space after it has reached the earth. Some of the gases, which are known as the greenhouse gases, actually affect this natural balance of energy. The actual energy that earth gets from the sun is the short-wave energy, or in the form of the radiation, which is basically an ultra violet light. One third of this energy goes back to space after reflection. The two third of the energy is absorbed by the earth, i.e. oceans and lands. This results in the surface of the earth getting warmer and resultantly releases the infrared radiations, which are long-waved in nature. While the radiations are releasing ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Ozone depletion causes global warming

...to global warming. According to experts, manmade carbon dioxide emission is the primary reason for the temperature increase. Other scientists say that it is just a normal phenomenon despite the present temperature increase being beyond the normal threshold. Past studies were not able to identify any alarming carbon dioxide levels that may have any effects on the global temperature even though chlorofluorocarbons was identified to be the major cause of the present global warming (Ashworth 23). Global warming is also related to climate change since the weather and climate all over the...

...to the abnormal emission of green house gases which are resulting in global warming, finally leading to abrupt fluctuations in the climatic condition. The human civilization on its way to development has been transformed from an agricultural economy to an industrial economy (Read 33). No doubt that this transformation has increased the per capita income as well as livelihood of the human beings, however it is also associated with a cost namely ‘green house gas initiated global warming’. The paper attempts to explore the causes, impact and probable solutions of global warming. What are the green house gases? Earth’s...

Ozone Depletion Causes Global Warming

... layer depletion increased the harmful radiation at the surface of the planet. The change may have both beneficial and harmful effects to living things especially to human beings. More people became aware of the consequences of radiation exposure in the past 60 years. According to some recent reports, the eye and the skin are the most prawn to damages and diseases once exposed to UV radiation. Cataract is the usual effect of UV radiation to the eyes while skin cancer is the common result on skin (Norval et. al. 199). The other term that must be defined is global warming. The average surface temperature of earth increases as the years passed and possibly it would continue in the future is said to be global warming. It is caused... say manmade...

It therefore goes without saying that global warming is a reality, which must be dealt with in every manner possible based on the fact that its effects have already started making our lives difficult. However, it is the responsibility of every world citizen to take it upon him self to do the little he can do to make this world a better living place for all. Works Cited Christian, Gale. Global warming: What it is, its Causes and Effects

...?Global Warming: What It Is, Its Causes and Effects For thousands of years, the increase of CO2 levels due to the gradual increase in the human population had not much effect in the cycles of drought in agricultural areas. However, with the arrival of the industrial revolution around the mid-1700’s, the discovery of petroleum products to power up factories, homes, and later on, cars and other means of transport accelerated the increase in CO2 levels much faster as compared to the past thousands of years of the development of human civilization (Goldstein, 2009). The rapid increase of CO2 levels in the atmosphere created a profound increase in the...

...Causes and Effects of Global Warming The effects climate change commonly referred to global warming are usually far reaching and the effects have since led to enormous social and ecological changes. The global warming have been initiated directly or and indirectly by human activities that usually lead to greenhouse gases emission into the environment. Some Scientists believe that climatic changes are driven by human activities (Haldar, 2011). The Effects of Global Warming

...The Effects of Global Warming The issue of global warming poses damaging effects that could threaten not only the sustainability of the environment but also all aspects of human life. One of the most common effects of global warming can be observed in the rapid changes of the environment. For instance, the intense heat of the Earth’s atmosphere has resulted to the rise of sea levels, changes in rainfall patterns and frequency of severe weather conditions. Droughts, floods, air and water pollution, as well as the occurrence of natural disasters (e.g. typhoons, hurricanes, tsunamis), have...
