Metaphor Todays family can be compared to the real e foreclosure epidemic thats plaguing America. Something that was originally entered into out of hope for comfortability, a sense of accomplishment, structure and the feeling of having achieved stability has endured a blow to the belief in. The home, just like the family, has appeared to have lost its value but it still has its worth. The exterior appearance of the home, which is the initial introduction, is not as manicured as those that have been tended to but its still worth the investment.
The investment of the home and family covenant wasnt entered into with the intentions of losing it, however the cost of it, for whatever reason, became to much to pay. Cost does not just encumbers externalities, such as money, but it entails internal components as well. Both are experiencing an epidemic as families and homes are being loss at excelerated rates.
However, both still holds worth making it an investment worth investing in. The aforementioned initiatives are components of the belief in and the belief in establishes worth. The fact that they both have worth, which is staying power, makes them solid investments.
The house just like the family is made up of different components. The house has a roof. The roof can be linked to the spirituality of the family. The position of both the roof and the familys spiritual practices put emphasis on above. The things of above help protect the family from forecasted and unforecasted rain.
Foreclosures just like families have unforseen problems. What is seen on the external does not initally reveal the unforseen problems that may be in the structure as theyre typically are not for show. However once the home or family bond is inspected and vital components are tested, then the hidden problems may be revealed.
The foreclosed house has walls which can be the family members. Each wall is important to the soundness of the home. The walls are important as they are attached to each other and work collectively to maintain a sound structure. Just like family members, walls sometimes get removed. When the flow of the space is interrupted, then the wall can be removed to open up space and allow a better flow of energy. This also happens in the family as well. Although the family may have consisted of more members, the disruptive energy that some family members conjure makes it necessary to remove the family member to restore peace throughout the family as a whole.
The floors can be likened to the communication of the family. The floors take a person throughout the entire house and just like communication, it allows the family to go where necessary throughout. The floors enter into every aspect of the house and so does communication to the family. The floors, just like communication, are vital components of the house as a home could not exist without. No matter what the floor covering is in the home, the floors need maintenance on a continual basis.
However, the foreclosed property floors havent been maintained. The neglect that the foreclosed home has underwent has left the floors in need of maintenance. This is also happening to the family bond. The breakdown in communication has brought the family structure to need repairing. The increasing demands on the family, especially a two-parent working household, has left the communication aspect in need of repairs.
The kitchen can be compared to the love of the family. The kitchen is generally where meals are cooked and thoughtful input is utilized to cook favorite meals. Love works in a similar way. The love allows for thoughtful expressions of feelings and the remembrance of those things that make one smile. Unfortunately, with some foreclosures the kitchen is inoperatable. Its normal function is not working properly and it needs repairing to restore its original purpose.
This is also happening in the family bond. The neglect of expression of love has left the family structure in need of attention. The overwhelming demands of life can misplace vital attention leaving this essential aspect in need of maintenance.
The bathroom can be compared to the conflict a family endures. This is where waste is expelled when working properly. This is an extremely vital component of the home and family structure as the dismissal of waste is a normal function of both. Although this is an unpleasant aspect it is a necessary one needed to maintain health.
The foreclosed property bathrooms may not be working properly. The foreclosure epidemic has left the bathrooms without its proper function needing a plumber to diagnose repairs needed. If a bathroom is inoperatable it causes a disruption the elimination process of waste. This is also occurring in todays families. Although arguing and disagreements are a normal part of family structure, the disruption in the proper elimination process has caused the family to need outside assistance for diagnosis. Families are now visiting counseling sessions at record high numbers.
The furnace is another component that all homes have and can be compared to the sex life of the parents. Just like the sex life of today, the furnace is not always utilized. It allows a family to set the output to their comfortability, has seasons where it is utilized more and it also have off seasons. However, some foreclosed homes furnaces are broken and in some cases missing. They are no longer working properly or are not attached to the house at all. The heat emitted from the furnace is vital as it allows warmth to be experienced.
The intimate warmth that is experienced in the sex life is experiencing the epidemic of the furnace in the foreclosed home. Either it needs to be repaired or is missing altogether. The intimacy of the sex life is dire to a relationship and needs to be restored to keep the bond strong and the relationship at a proper temperature.
The overall maintenance needed to restore the foreclosed home is similar to that needed to maintain a strong family bond. The work may range from some simple tender loving care to extensive repairs. The worth of both is still strong, however attention may be needed to increase the value.
