They were among the earliest philosophers, to this particular race came the first most known inventors and scientists who opened the minds of the human society towards the new age of understanding life and the things beyond it. 
Astronomy has been the main reason why the development of the Copernican theory about the existence and the characteristics of the Universe has been pursued to be explained further through scientific pieces of evidence. As a response to the Copernican Models of the Universe’s arrangement and systematical series of functions, religious groups, on a basis of Bible contents have strongly supported the said theories. One of the reasons why this is so is because of the fact that even a verse from the bible claims the same thing about the universal bodies revolving around the sun and that each heavenly body found in the universe hangs themselves upon nothing. Aside from this, religious groups also accepted the fact that through the existence of Science, the general claims of the Bible which some consider as something that lacks much of the evidence needed for strong proof] could be proven true through evidence.
