How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action? The social perception of political action goes beyond the direct depicters of political support or criticism. In the modern society, indirect political affiliations may be enough to create a perception of a person’s political ideologies. For this reason, people are often careful on their political affiliation association with their project of products. Consequently, the effects of political perceptions on business are significant. The same argument is developed with the release of the film Ender’s Game. However, the problem is not created from the content of movie, but from the political ideologies of its producer and original script writer, Orson Scott Card. Support of Ender’s Game as a political action From a consumer perspective, the selection of a company preference is also influenced by the ideologies supported by the company. From a political perspective, if a CEO of a company cites his support for a political party, they risk being ignored by consumers with alternative opinions. For this reason, it is an accurate assumption that the ideologies of a person associated with a project will directly affect the market perception of the entire company. The same situation is experience on the perception of Ender’s game. Orson Scott Card has poor political ideologies. He is described as racist, homophobic and careless in making political related comments. On more than one occasion, Orson has said extreme homophobic comments. At one instance, he said that gay people are a result of genetic problem (Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). In addition, he said that gay people should be prosecuted for their actions. Most recently, he pointed out that Obama regime is similar to that of a dictator, and the government has put in place measure to destroy evidence that depict the existence of global warming ((Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). These comments are viewed as political and social inappropriate in a society democracy and human rights are important factors. Indirectly, a person with a preference to watch the movie may be in support of the ideologies of its creator. In an argument by Rugnetta buying a movie ticket to the film indirectly depicts that a person supports the ideologies of Orson. The film further develops the assertion that the support of the film is associated as the support of the personal opinion by Orson (Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). From the developed argument, it is an obvious assertion that the personal ideas of Orson do not support human rights and democracy. The money collected from the tickets purchased for the film will directly benefit Orson (Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). For this reason, a person purchasing the ticket would be increasing the financial stability of a person viewed as a social enemy. In addition, Orson may use the money from the ticket sales to support political ideologies. Consequently, a person in support of film may indirectly support political activities that they may dislike. From these arguments, it is an accurate assumption that from supporting the film Ender’s Game one may be in support of a political action. In this case, the political ideology is not social appropriate. Support of Ender’s Game as a political action From this point of view, one may decide to disassociate the movie from Orson. This may allow for a person to perceive the movie as a normal form of art. This would allow for the person to exclude the political perception of the producer while watching. In addition, the film would only depict the ideologies presented in the film. Rugnetta is of the assumption that the ideologies shared in the film do not have the personal opinions of Orson. The film further asserts that numerous gay rights groups have analyzed the content and script of the film (Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). The script and content do not have any sign of racial or homophobic instances. From this argument, one may point out that the movie does not require support only from people who may be in support of the ideologies share by Orson. In addition, the argument excludes any form of political affiliation. The movie does not include any form of support of criticism to any political ideology. This may justify the assumption that watching the Ender’s Game is not a sign of a political action. The film also developed the assumption that there are numerous people behind the creation of the movie (Rugnetta, How is Seeing Enders Game a Political Action?). Each of these people has different political ideologies. Consequently, their political ideologies may not rhyme with the ideologies shared by Orson. For this reason, it would be unfair to develop the perception that the movie is in support of the Orson’s political ideologies. Additionally, actors in the movie may share completely different political ideologies from Orson. This excluded the perception that the general objective of the film supports the personal opinion of Orson. From the argument, it is correct to develop the conclusion that watching the Ender’s Game is not a form of political action. Conclusion The perception of the Ender’s Game can be developed from two points of view. Each point of view is determined the preference of the viewer. For instance, homosexual people may it difficult to watch the film based on the opinion of Orson on them. The same perception cannot be shared by a person not directly affected by the political ideologies of Orson. In this case, they may view the film as a source of entertainment. From the two perspectives, it is an accurate assumption that the viewer perception of Orson depicts their perception of the Film. From the arguments presented, the film creates the assumption that the support of the movie may be a form of political action. However, the film also asserts that the movie can lack connection to the personal opinions of Orson. From either alternative, the personal political of Orson directly affect the social perception of the movies. Additionally, the level of significance his opinions affect your lifestyle the more likely you are to dislike or not envy watching the movie. Work Cited Rugnetta, Mike. Perf.
