Happiness is a ive term and concept that is defined in terms of the pleasure and comfort of the individual. The different individuals have defined it from different perspectives, however all have one thing in common and that is the level of accomplishment, the desires oriented towards it and the pleasure that is derived from the subjective nature of happiness.Buddha has given his account of understanding of the matter of happiness. He has addressed it in a manner that is most closely associated with the human nature, the human suffering and the human desire for living a life that is free of any troubles and any obstacles as a whole.

Fighting the evil, providing the people with whatever comfort one can, and delivering through the self practices and ensuring that the individual will be at a better place based on the effort and contribution provided, the pursuit of happiness is defined as getting rid of the troubles and obstacles that the common man face. Keeping one’s own desires and expectations behind and providing for a platform that nurtures the other people’s benefits is defined as the pursuit of happiness by Asoka Buddha.

Buddha has attributed the functions of noble acts and righteousness as the basic ingredients towards the accomplishment of the process of happiness as a whole (Magid, p 84).How to be happy?Happiness is a state of mind that can be acquired through the different set of actions. These may include the undertaking of path and course which benefits the other human beings. It may also entail the concept of sacrifice. By providing others with the means of accomplishment, comfort and fulfilling their own desires make up for the element of happiness spreading.

Happiness is when you have a goal path in front of you or clearly set forth agendas that one aims to achieve even if it means going through the hardships and other difficulties and obstacles.Why do people want to be happy?People want to be happy because they feel sense of accomplishment and fulfillment within the heart when they have the comforts all around them. Being able to live in comfort, being able to provide themselves with the desires that their hearts make, all these make the common man wanting to be happy.

People want to be happy because they sense they can achieve the objectives of their live and living through it.Aristotle in his context and assessment of the concept of the pursuit of happiness has defined certain set of actions and activities along with the thoughts and mindset that enables accomplishing happiness as a phenomena and concept (Strawn¸p 15). A continuous struggle, wanting to achieve excellence, enduring the difficult circumstances and making sure that the right path is followed, all these make up for the elements of pursuit of happiness.

These entire if followed and no matter how hard and distant the objectives, will be achieved one day.
