The leaders need to embrace the Neo-Confucian philosophical system. This should be the appropriate program of learning that has affixed commentaries and classical texts. The philosophy takes a crucial role in raising the private academies as studying, teaching, and discussing the role. The philosophy will help in solving the North’s barbarian occupation, moral decline, misgovernment, Buddhism threat, and splintering of the normal Confucian ways. Therefore, the effort of the leaders restoring and redefining the Confucian ways helps in establishing the Ch’eng school.

The school has remained to be one of the alternatives in the 11th century as a Confuniacism mainstream (Kim, 2000). Consequently, the philosophy needs to be recommended because of the inherent interest that it holds. The philosophy focuses on the social and moral problems which are perfect guidelines for leaders of Chu. The natural knowledge of philosophy is of great value to the leaders since they have a key role in the investigation of things.
