These individuals get up every morning and go to sleep every night not knowing what might happen to them next. A number of these individuals are victims of domestic violent behavior, while others are survivors and still need to get information on how to stay away from abusive people and relationships. I wanted to learn what people who are victims of domestic violent behavior go through by listening to real stories from real people. I gave them time to fill the form and requested I have the forms back once they were finished filling them so that I could get information on how to continue improving as a presenter. I thanked the group and joined them to appreciate their presence at my presentation16. After the presentation, I got feedback from a number of my colleagues who were present during the presentation. The majority of them first made their sentiments known about the presentation by saying that they had really liked my presentation, some calling it a good representation while others referred to it as excellent. They thought that the presentation was very involving and touched the whole group. I was grateful that my first audience was actually supportive and did not ridicule me on my topic given the fact that I had really worked hard on doing the research and preparing for the presentation. The audience gave me the encouragement I needed to start delivering more presentations on subjects that I felt people should know more about and had significance to me, as well as society. I also felt that the suggestions and information that were availed during within the feedback forms would be considered in my future presentations on the same topic. This is because the presentation done on domestic violence does not end here for me; I have promised myself to help the people I know who have endured domestic violent behavior.
