In order to save time and digest quickly, fast food intake can be seen more around the globe and thus animals are utilized to fulfill the hunger of humans. Farming and upbringing of animals is increase but there are various unnatural techniques applied to have rapid growth. Even killings of infant animals are also observed just to make sure that food supplies remain intact. Wildlife is also affected due to deforestation and killings of animals brutally. This scenario is certainly creating immense problems for animals as their rights are violated immensely. It’s a natural phenomenon that for human survival, animal’s meat is an eminent ingestion. Thus steps were taken in order to bring animals into the industries for the production purpose. However there should be limitations created to setup and calculate these activities. Resources are utilized even more in factory farming but in organic farming limited resources are consumed. Grains consumption by the animals is certainly more than the meat output. Water utilization is enormous by the animals thus resources are unnecessarily consumed at such a large amount. Billions of animals are slaughtered every year. These facts demonstrate that how the natural resources are destroyed due to the massive factory farming. Deforestation, wastage of water and slaughtering of animals at a large amount is not an issue which can be easily digested. These eye opening facts reveal that meat consumption by humans must be minimized as this involves colossal natural resources mishandling. Vegetables and pulses are sufficient to fulfill human appetite. Meat must be utilized fortnightly or on monthly basis. Decision Criteria: Society overall has to take a big step forward to stop these exploitation of resources as this can trail to disastrous end. World is facing problems of drinking water and for the safe and unpolluted environment, forests are necessary (Westly, 2010). Factory animal farms are demolishing these resources on a large scale and it’s the moral responsibility of society to raise their voice on such core subjects. Following decisions must be made: Routine practice of meat intake must be revised as this does not escort to a healthy life. Nutrients in meat are essential but massive intake can be dangerous. Financial stability will be observed after the reduced usage of meat. Educating people through awareness is the name of the game. The consumption of meat must be minimized by the individuals. Rapid increase in the utilization of meat encourages factory owners to increase animal farming and slaughtering of more animals. Consumption of meat must be reduced up to twice a month. Billions of animals slaughtering every year is a devastating and shocking scenario and thus awareness to propagate this essential message is necessary. Bringing this issue to the masses is the responsibility of NGO’s and activists so that this scenario would be reduced. Organic farming must be promoted instead of factory farming. Factory farming is injurious, damaging and harmful for health as there are various medications given to the animals so that they would be physically strong. The medications are adaptation of unnatural process which appears that if animal is physically sound apparently but from inside, it’s not. Eating factory animal’s meat is not suitable for human beings. The utilization of natural resources is enormous in factory farming, billions of gallons of water are consumed by the animals and factory farming does not have a check and balance to the utilization of water. Grains cultivation for factory farm animals requires gigantic fields for which deforestation takes place thus assassination of healthy environment takes place. Organic farming is thus the only option. Recommendation: In the current era, moral values are declining in our society and people no more follow ethics, moral values and principles. This is one of the biggest dilemmas of this century and this will escort to destruction of the society. Slaughtering of numerous animals just to fulfill appetite has no moral justification as humans have several other options to satisfy hunger. Karma states that what goes around comes back around, so humans must be aware that innocent killings of billions of animals will one day lay huge impact on their lives. Floods, earthquakes are a clear indication that the law of karma is in action, so still it’s time for human race to reduce such massive slaughtering. Organic farming must be supported as the animals brought up through this process are healthy for human lives. Their meat is healthy and appropriate for the human body. Every human has the ability to think and react accordingly, so neglecting factory farms animal meat must be done and organic farming must be supported.
