Task: New World Order Duality is derived from a philosophical term de d as dualism. This usually highlights the process through which humans divide the world into different things. It is clear that an individual helps in creation by noticing existence of something. Analysis of philosophical terms indicates that the processes and concepts that humans create set stage for intense debate. Based on its nature, dualism is a force that is highly creative and helps in shaping the history of the world, as well as daily interactions between people.

Master-Slave Dualism In his attempts to divide the world, man normally comes to the realization that some things get along while others remain stagnant. This implies that duality leads to creation of relationships. Apparently, in a relationship involving two or more people, one is either a slave or a master. However, in some cases, one person can be a master and a servant at the same time. A typical case involves a politician. As a master, a politician can make key decisions that control the everyday life of others.

Conversely, a politician is also a servant of the people who elected him to office. Subsequently, a politician is both a master and a servant. In the Christianity dialect, God, whom is the Master of all creation came down in the form of Jesus Christ to serve humanity. This is the duality of Master-Servant philosophy. This can be a good philosophical approach of dealing with the sobering facts of the 21st century such as environment, disease, war, poverty, injustice, and crime. For instance, in the part of the environment, man will consider the earth and its natural systems as his equal, and would therefore not dominate over them (Salerno 56).

Dualistic definition also states that one side of a dualistic relationship determines the other side. This means that environmental sustainability is dependent on diverse ideologies emanating from different sides. The possibility of being a slave and a master at the same time leads to the achievement of duality. However, the master slave idiom is dialectic in itself. For a master to assume his status, the servant must recognize him as a master. As the master continues to exploit the servant, the slave eventually realizes his resilience.

This highlights that the environment undergoes degradation because an individual acknowledges that he is the master and can control environment. Philosophically, a servant is always in subordination of his master mainly because he fears the repercussions when he chooses reverse course. Apparently, the repercussions might include death. However, critiques to this philosophical thought think otherwise. The critiques argue that the fear of death by the servants must be a cause of worry for the master as well.

This is because, the master also fears losing his servant. When he loses him to death, he will also lose his master status as well. This implies that both the master and the servant depend on each other for actualizing their self-consciousness meaning that none of them is free (Salerno 78). The environment supports man who is the master, meaning that he attempts to control its well-being. The dependence relationship between the master and servant leads to control of master by the servant. If the servant attains courage, he can use the obliteration of his existence to sabotage his master.

This situation can easily occur when the master resiliently dominates over his servant. This result in a condition evident servant seeks to achieve his freedom. The master-servant dialect portends that both slave and master should be accorded equal times through mutual recognition. This implies an imperfect master-servant relationship’s solution falls with the exact relationship. Both the master and the servant must be forced to distinguish common interdependence of their relationship. They are forced because of the fear of the deadly repercussions.

Dualistic relationships with an absolute difference can have dualistic exclusion. This implies their relationship terms do not have anything in common such that when a dualistic side has a characteristic, the other cannot have a characteristic. Apparently, some of the 21st century facts assume this kind of dualistic relationship. For instance, injustices such as racism and crime assume fundamental differences in their exhibition. Racism in particular divides races into whites and non-whites. Incidentally, these do not have any common characteristic.

This prevents the likelihood of a common human face persisting (Orme 80). The problem of master-slave duality Logic is mainly concerned with grouping things through a system that recognizes the nature in which the world represents them. Prior to dividing things, it is advisable for one consider the reality that will be presented with such kinds of divisions. However, master-slave duality tends to ignore this reality. This is because it portends that divisions occur in accordance to people’s interests.

This has led some critiques to argue on the need to reject dualism and instead embrace division because the latter can provide better logical systems. Works cited Orme, Mark.
