Islam Afterlife “Allah is the Creator of all things and He is the Guardian over all things.” (Surah Az-Zumar: 62) Every soul has to taste death, Muslim and non-Muslim. Muslims believe that after this life, which is a temporary world in preparation for the next concrete life, there is another world which is permanent. When a Muslim passes away, he/she is washed and packed in a clean and white clothe called ‘Kafan’. This process is done as the first step for the life after death. Islam teaches that there will be a day of judgment after death. When a person dies, he/she will remain in his/her grave till the Day of Judgment. Muslims who has followed the teachings of Islam will go to Heaven which is a perfect secure place for rest and peace. And people who has not followed the Islam and ignored Allah’s teachings will be sent to Hell as punishment. From the teachings of our beloved Holy Prophet (SAW), it becomes clear that after the end of an individual in fact take him/her to be lifeless, but that person remains alive. Life after death is entirely dissimilar from this life. The interval between death and Day of Judgment is called ‘Barzakh’. Imam Bukhari reported that Hazrat Aiesha (R.A) said that the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) said: “Destroyed is the one who has his account settled on the Day of Judgment”, Aiesha (R.A) said: “O Messenger of Allah, didn’t Allah says: “Then He who give his records in his right hand soon will his account be taken by easy reckoning”. The Prophet (P.B.U.H) replied: “This is the skimming through the deeds; and destroyed is the one who has his account settled on the Day of Judgment.” After this worldly life, every person will be equal before Allah. No any king will be superior than his slave; a slave also can be a king by doing good deeds or by follow Islam sincerely. And a king can remain a king if he is kind and helpful to his people. In the graveyard when an individual is buried, two Angels will be sent by Allah in the graveyard. One angel will be ‘Munkir’ and the other will be ‘Nakir’. There are some specific questions according to the meaning of Ayaat of Quran-e-Pak which will be asked by angel. Questions will be “What do you know about the messenger (prophet P.B.U.H) of Allah”? “Who is your Lord”? Than they will ask over that “What is your religion”? And “Who is your Prophet”? The dead body will reply all their questions. If the dead body will be a Muslim, he/she will be gifted. And if he/she is a non-Muslim he will be punished by answering incorrect. Angles will send his/her soul according to his deeds, if he will be a good man he will be sent in heaven, otherwise thrown in hell. This world is a great test world for all human beings. A good person will be in heaven and a bad person will be thrown into hell. Hell is a place where Allah keeps their bad human beings. There is a big reward hereafter, alike punishment is also brutal. Hell is a big space in which millions of peoples can be punished at once. Hell is full of fire which is fanned for millions of years. Fire is fanned till the Day of Judgment. All the persons with sins will be thrown into it and will be punished till his punishment ends. All the doors of forgiveness will be closed on the Day of Judgment. No one can be escaped. It will be on the sky, how could anyone one be escaped. All the things will be done according to the order of Allah. Paradise (Jannah) is the place made for those people who are beloved to Allah through their actions. Such bounties are there which nobody can imagine, no mind can perceive, no ears had ever heard. People in Jannah will spend their time with full joy and peace. Their every will be come true which was unaccepted on earth. Heaven is a beautiful, calm and secure place which will be full of beautiful hurs (fair, beautiful females) wearing fine silk gowns with wide lovely eyes. Milk streams will float everywhere. No sense of fatigue will touch there. People will be never asked to leave from there. People who are or were slaves on earth will be equal to the king in every sense. Trays cups will be of gold. Eyes will be pleased and relaxed by seeing everything. Plenty of colorful fruits will be there for every one. No one will face death in Heaven. No one can fall ill there, health will be everywhere. There will be such big trees that if a person ride over its shade on swift horse, he will take hundred years in traveling. Inhabitants of Jannah will eat and drink but they do not have to excrete and even they will not feel heavy. Food will be digested by producing belch which will smell like that of musk. Allah said: “Truly, the Muttaqun (the right person) will be surrounded by Gardens and water springs. Enter here, in peace and security. And Allah shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness. (So they will be like) brothers facing each others on their thrones. No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they be asked to leave it.” (Al-hijr: 45-48) Meraj is the word of Arabic language which means “stairs”. Meraj is a blessed journey of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) in which Allah Almighty showed him Masjid Ul Haram and Aqsa Mosque and then skies and ascended beyond to meet Allah Almighty. It was the 12th year of ProphetHood and 27th of Rajab (month of Islamic calendar). He (P.B.U.H) was sleeping and Gabriel (A.S) came to took charge of Him (P.B.U.H). Gabriel (A.S) cut His throat till the center of chest near heart and opens His skin to take His material and abdomen outside and then washed it with Zam-Zam and Gabriel (A.S) closed his body. Gabriel brought an animal for Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H) named as “Buraq”. This animal was seems a horse with wings. Speed of that animal was much more than traveling of electricity. In first stage Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H) said prayer with all Ambiyah-e-Karam. Second stage was the journey to they sky and ultimately to heavens, because there are seven layers of sky and at each layer there is a gate of heaven. All these layers are known as gates of heaven. On the first sky Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Adam who is Father of all human beings. At second heaven He (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Isa (A.S) (Christ) and Hazrat Yahya (A.S). On third heaven He (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Yosaf (A.S) who is the most beautiful male on the earth and heaven. On the forth sky, He (P.B.U.H) met Hazra Idrees (A.S). At fifth sky He (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Haroon (A.S). At sixth heaven Prophet (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Musa (A.S) and at the last heaven He (P.B.U.H) met Hazrat Abraham and talked to him. After these meetings He (PBUH) went to a tree known as Sidra-tu-ul-Muntaha and paid prayer there. At this point Hazrat Gabriel (A.S) stopped. Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) went by him self where Allah Almighty showed him Heaven and Hell. “By the stars as they fell away. Your friend (Mohammad P.B.U.H) was not astray, nor was he deceived. Nor is he speaking out of a personal desire. It is divine inspiration. Dictated by the Most powerful. Possessor of all authority. From his highest height. At the highest horizon. He drew nearer by moving down. Until He became as close as possible. He then revealed to His servant what was to be revealed. The heart never made up what it saw. Are you doubting what he saw? He saw him another descent. At the ultimate point. Where the eternal Paradise is located. The whole place was overwhelmed. The eyes did not waver, nor go blind. He saw great signs of his Lord.”( Surah Al- Najm 53: 1-18) In the last but not the least, every one should do his/her best to have Heaven at the Day of Judgment without any query. And for this purpose firstly a person has to believe on Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty sent his special peoples to every nation whose purpose was to preach Islam and teachings of Allah Almighty. One should follow those teachings to be in Heaven. Do good deeds, help others, be kind to every person, save yourself from doing sins etc. Are all the keys to get entered into Heaven is the most beautiful place after death to live.
