This integration worldwide is known as globalisation, which involves integration nations and countries all over the world to engage in particular aspects of life like trade, education, culture and interchanging views and ideas from different parts of the world (Dzvimbo & Moloi 2013). Globalisation has brought about both positive and negative effects to the world different aspects of life from food, employment, education, communication among many other life aspects. However, in most of these aspects positive impact of globalisation outdo the negative effects. The purpose of this essay is to analyse the positive impacts that globalisation has had on the aspect of jobs and education. IMPACTS GLOBALISATION TO EDUCATION Globalisation has greatly impact education all over the world. A lot has changed over the years in the education industry creating far reaching progresses that have enhanced education all over the world. Education is a very crucial element of the society since it is seen as a driving force towards social, human and economic development. The changes being experienced in areas of education like culture, science and technology is increasingly and in a dramatic way influencing the universe in a great way especially due to the high increasing levels of globalisation (Shahidi & Seyedi 2012). One way that globalisation has impacted education positively is the fact that it has helped create opportunitiesthrough which social, behavioural norms, values, technology and knowledge is shared as well as promote societies, organisations, communities, and individuals development within different cultures and nations. Globalisation is beneficial in that apart from sharing knowledge intellect and skills that are crucial for development, it also provides mutual benefits, supplements and support important for producing synergy that is used for improving communities, individuals and organisations all over the world. Globalisation also positively influences education by developing values and improving efficiency through global mutual support and sharing to serve the growth and needs at the local national and international levels. Another positive impact of globalisation to education is that it promotes international acceptance, understanding, and harmony andcollaboration of diverse cultures across the globe (Bakhitiari &Shajar 2005). It also facilitates interactions, communication and inspires multi-cultural contribution at various levels among nations. According to Dzvimbo and Moloi (2013), globalisation also affects education positively through internationalisation. Through internationalisationthe quality of learning and teaching is easily improved to high standards. This is attributed to the fact that internationalisation inspires individual from different parts of the world to accept different cultures, which they integrate into their learning and teaching processes. Consequently, learners are exposed to different sources of knowledge from all over the world, which broadens their knowledge base. In addition, internationalisation also enhances collaboration among universities all over the world creating a platform on which students from different nations can interact and share knowledge and ideas hence enhancing diversity. The accessibility of knowledge in education has also been improved by globalisation. This is possible through the internet which is a global platform that provides different forms of knowledge that student use in research to learn new skills and knowledge in a much faster and convenient way. At the same time the web creates a platform on which students and trainers can network from all over the universe. Globalisation has also enhanced distant learning (Bakhitiari & Shajar 2005). In the current education systems especially in higher learning institution, it is not a must that one is physically being in the classroom. Through the internets and the latest technology, it is easy for a student to take courses online. Research is an important part of education since it forms the basis on which most technological scientific, social and economic decision and policies are made. Globalisation positivelyimpacts research processes by providing a wider range of conceptsand material on which to base evidence on. This makes research processes more efficient and reliable in making conclusions and developing solutions to issues related to education. Generally, globalisation has increased the quality of education in differentdimension that include performance, reliability features, conformance serviceability and durability of education. This has helped enhance the outcomes of learning and teaching all over the globe that are being translated to innovations, economic growth and social integration (Shahidi & Seyedi 2012). This has especially helped education among developing nations who can now be able to advance through the diverse knowledge they get through the shred knowledge from other nations. Focusing on the discussed influence of globalisation to education, it is evident that globalisation actually influences education in many positive ways. I agree that globalisation provides learners with a platform on which knowledge, ideas and values are shared. This helps increase the knowledge levels of the learners that consequently leads to innovations, personal, organisational and social development as well as economic growth. I also agree that globalisation has brought about distant learning which more flexible and cheaper and allows one to learn at own time as they pursue other life aspects. IMPACTS OF GLOBALISATION TO JOBS Employment is an important element of life since it determines in a great way the quality of life of individuals in the society. Employment is one way that wealth isdistributed in the economy since it provides people with income that is used to improve the quality of life. Globalisation influences the distribution of jobs and wealth in a greatway,whichconsequently influences economic growth positively. One of the positive impacts of globalisation is that it provides a platform on that generate decent job opportunities at the global economy (Spence 2011). Currently it is possible and easy for people to find jobs in different countries. Globalisation has also positively influenced jobs and employment opportunities by removing most barriers that exist while finding a job in the global labour market making increasing mobility that provides employment opportunities to both skilled and non-skilled individuals. Economic barriers such as borders and policies are some of the challenges that one may experience while searching for a job especially in foreign countries (Spence 2011). However, with globalisation these barriers are removed allowing individual to move from their origin countries to other countries in searchfor job opportunities. Another way that globalisation has improved the state of jobs in the world is that it has resulted in the creation of many industries and subsidiary companies due to the advancement in technology and economic growth . The new industries and subsidiary companies being opened in foreign countries provide job opportunities to the locals and foreigners if the organisation involved decides to outsource employee. This transfer of technology from one nation to another provides platform on which innovative opportunities for employment are created. Globalisation has also encouraged diversity which has inspired people to embrace different cultures and languages (OECD 2007). Having a diverse knowledge of culture and being able to speak different languages also opens up employment opportunities for people. Through globalisation, the overall poverty level reduces since it bring about wealth distribution providing people with means of obtaining income hence increasing the quality of their lives. In addition, globalisation provides individuals with an opportunity to exploit the lax labour laws that may be in foreign countries, which assist them in improving the economy of their countries of origin as well as the standards of their lives. By creating job opportunities, globalisation allows individual whether in foreign or origin country exploit the untapped resources and skills that they have to offer. Additionally, it helps reduce the gap between the poor and the rich as more people are able to work and earn decentincome. Another way that globalisation has influenced job opportunities is by increasing capital liquidity, allowing investors to invest in foreign countries and creating multinational organisations that provide job opportunities. At the same time, globalisation has eased transportation which allowsindividuals to move from one country to another for employment purposes (OECD 2007). This has helped improve the flow of both non-skilled and skilled jobs from the countries that are developed to the less developed countries. Based on these analysis it is evident that globalisation has a positive impact to employment and jobs. I agree that globalisation has opened up the global labour market allowing individuals to be able to find jobs in foreign countries. In addition, globalisation has reduced the barriers that hinder people from moving from one country for employment purposes by easing transportation and removing boundary policies that are a challenge to people searching for jobs in foreign countries. Conclusively, globalisation opens up developing countries to investors who invest in companies and factories that provide skilled and non-skilled job opportunitiesfor locals hence allowing them to improve the quality of their lives. CONCLUSION Front the above analysis t is evident that globalisation has positively impacted education and jobs. It has increased the job opportunities for the global labour market providing employment to unemployed people especially in developing countries. In addition globalisation has enhanced the quality of education and has effectively increased knowledge and skills sharing which has led to innovation, inventions, individual and societal development as well as economic growth.
