However the living time can be transferred from on person to another and it is the unit of exchange as opposed to money, whose availability is only available as an implant on the lower arm. One do die after the clock hits zero, Social stratification revolves around the poor who live in the Ghettos of Dayton who struggle to earn a few hours to life and pay for their everyday necessities and the rich are in Greenwich, drive perfect cars, and are able to live in centuries. A 28 year old Will Salas lives in the ghetto and he on one day save a 105 year old Hamilton from a robbery assault in bar where he was flaunting his time by buying people drinks. Hamilton is attacked by Minutemen but will does lead to safety and in the process he whispers to will that “for few to be immortal, many must die” because there is enough time for all to live a full life but the rich are stockpiled to become immortal. Capitalism comes in at this point. According to Pirenne (2011), a capitalist society is a community that is based on a close relationship that exists between the state and the rich as opposed to success being determined in a free market and the full rule of law. The success of the prominent few in society is dependent on favoritism that the ruling government gives in various forms such as incentives and many other forms. In the movie “In time” the wealthy few are stockpiled with living time to an extent that they can live fro centuries against the ghetto youth population that has a long life ahead of them yet their existence and room for survival is too limited. The rich are old and aged; such as the leader of minutemen who is 75 years old but they have the stockpiles of life denying the youth time to live. This is capitalism; favors of the few based on their financial positions at the expense of the poor in ghettos of Dayton. It is much love of oneself while the majorities are struggling to earn life and offset their bills amicably. In “capitalism: a love story,” the movie similar to the “in time” movie revolves President Jimmy carter warning to the Americans regarding the dangers associated with the worship of “self immoderation and consumption.” The subsequent years of Reagan, were then full of capitalism advocating by the adoption of Don Reagan policies which can be best described as having “turned the bull loose” for the existing free enterprises. Due to these policies, the corporate managed to gather much of biased power, the social unions were weakened, and the social economic gaps were made wider. In “capitalism: a love story” similar to “in time” movie, capitalism is far much practiced, against the free markets to the benefit of the mighty and well-off. These two movies in the above excerpts have been able to point out the practice of favors at the expense of the whole nation and global population to the few who can manage to impose power to the rulers and leadership. This is what capitalism is all about; loving oneself much, and benefiting individually at the expense of the globe. Moore in “capitalism: a love story” movie, is able to conduct interviews of several priest and they all loath capitalism. They all consider capitalism a “radical evil” that is against the Christianity teachings. A parody of what could have happened in Jesus was a capitalist who “wanted to maximize profits” is well presented in this movie. Capitalism in thus rampart in this movie and those who loathe it even question what could have happened if Jesus asked the sick to “pay out of their pockets” for the healing of their “preexisting conditions.”Similar to “in time movie, the populations have no option other than to pay for their preexisting conditions. The youth from the ghetto such as Willis have to struggle each day to earn additional life and be able to offset the daily necessities of life expenses. Capitalism in both movies if far much practiced and advocated for to benefit the mighty and well-off while the youthful, with vigor and much life ahead are discriminated along and left to wallow on the misfortunes of their poverty and ghetto life. According to the reading of Economic dimension of globalization, the international distribution of production of any goods and services should be centered along the elimination of any existing barriers towards global trade (Das, 2004). The preexisting barriers to global trade could either be issues related to the tariffs and the relative export fees. Economic dimension of globalization this advocates fro freedom to undertake international trade to benefit the global population in the same manner. This means that the policies should not be biased and are supposed to benefit all without favors. “In time” movie goes against this scope. The economic benefits of globalization have enabled few people to become rich and oppress the youth who are poor and living in the ghettos. Thus, the Economic dimension of globalization ideology is in contrast to the happenings and the ideas that is portrayed in the movie “in time.” Willis has to suffer to help the unfortunate, while equality is shattered to benefit the few in the society.   From Stiglitz “Globalization and its discontents”, Introduction, the author has managed to bring out much about the sense of humanity. David Dollar and Aart Kraay, “Spreading the Wealth,” is also advocating for having equal chances for every one else. The argument is that the advantaging of few against the wishes of the global population is inhuman and bad in all scopes. Thus, equality is an option to the empowerment of all. Wealth and riches should be spread out to all members of the society as opposed to benefiting the few like in the “in time” movie at the expense of the general populace. In time movie revolves the oppression of the villagers by the life’s demands due to poverty and centralization of wealth, thus, David Dollar and Aart Kraay, “Spreading the Wealth,” is a piece of work that goes against centralized wealth and advocated for shared distribution. The movie” in Time” has managed to bring out an upset will that no one is supposed to die before their full time in life comes to an end naturally. According to Hamilton, the oppression that exists in his life makes him to no longer desire life and he justifies this by saying that “despite the fact that your body may not be dilapidated, your psyche is and we covet and necessitate to die.” The lack of justice is what has disgusted Hamilton in the society. The is no equality between the population and emergent of social classes has made he situation worse with the rich enjoying ability to live for centuries while the ghetto youth are struggling to hit 26 years of age. According to Sen (2011), “The Idea of Justice”, it is necessary to have justice with held and shun oppression of the weak at the expense of the might. The idea is that justice should be with held to shun oppression such the one that exists in the In Time movie. He managed to elope with the 90 year old millionaire daughter; Sylvia he his followed by troubles but at the end he manages to empower the poor in Ghettos with life capsules. Will manages to crash the biased systems and there is a surge of the populace who has ability to change time zones from the ghettos. Will as an institution of globalization, manages to empower the disadvantaged into similar levels with their former oppressor. According to Stiglitz “Making Globalization work”, chapter 2, what Willis does in this movie is similar to the script message. It is influencing the globalization work where it seems like it can never. Some one has to force issue where they are not working or missing for globalization to be realized. According to Perkins (2004), “Confessions of an economic hitman,” the underdeveloped countries leadership was forced to accept loans from the international institutions because they were long neutralized politically and their wealth gaps widened as well as having their economies crippled. Due to such, these countries are made to acquiesce to opinionated strain from USA relating to various issues. Such oppression is much in the movie “In Time” where the powerful influence the disadvantaged to comply with their impacted pressures of life. For instance, the 90 years old millionaire tries to force Willis to comply because he is powerful and has a lot of years to his life as opposed to the poor ghetto Willis from Dayton. Thus the movie and this book relate in an extreme magnitude. In summary, the movie, “In Time” is a thriller that is centered on humanity, globalization and justice. This movie relates to works done in globalization studies in extreme magnitudes and allows the exploration of positive option available to those who are being oppressed.
