Will The Murdoch’s Empire Collapse? The emphasis over the Rupert Murdoch involves so much more beyond the bribing of the politician and the police, the hacking of the computers and the phones, and other such outrageous strategies for the suppression and the pursuit of the news. The control of the Murdoch over the communications significantly extends beyond to the control of the USA and UK over the communications and information. In global terms, the Murdoch has great influence on the various industries and in all walks of life.

This story is evident from the life of Elizabeth Murdoch, the daughter of the Murdoch, who is also a communications tycoon having profound correlations with the entertainment and TV industries just like her father. Although she was born in the year 1968, nevertheless, her association with the use of psychology for the purpose of governing the masses relates back to the nineteenth century. She got married to the great grandson of Sigmund Freud – a psychoanalyst who is well-known for his work on transference, unconscious mind and sexual drive.

Her husband, Mathew Freud, is PR tycoon as well. This marriage related Elizabeth Murdoch to the Freud’s cousin, Edward Bernays who is known as the father of public relations and propaganda. The organizations of the Murdoch family are based upon that premise as their personal and professional agenda is one of manipulating minds through maintaining public relations and thereby, controlling the news. They transformed the information in to entertainment for the purpose of distracting the people for their own interest.

The Rupert’s holdings have been tainted in three continents, so far. He had to be testified in front of the British Parliament. Some members of the inner circle of the New Corp have resigned or been arrested. Julia Gillard, the Prime Minister of Australia has declared that News Corp’s Holdings could possibly have to face an inquiry in her country. On the other side, in USA, the company could be prosecuted under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act according to which an American company giving bribes abroad should be prosecuted in court.

An FBI investigation is going on in order to find out whether the voice mails of the relatives of the victims of the September 11 incident were hacked in to or not. Moreover, the global empire of Rupert Murdoch is under the siege due to its ambiguous and doubtful future direction after the News Corp’s holding, under immense pressure, had to take back it ambitious bid of USD 12 billion for the complete acquisition of the remaining 61 percent of the British Sky Broadcasting - the top broadcaster of the United Kingdom – which was not previously owned by the News Corp’s Holding.

The implications of the fall of the Murdoch’s empire are so far-reaching that it probably has a significant influence on everything that includes economy since the information age is evolving in to the age of reality.
