Parents who adopt such professions that allow them to spend more time with their children are better able to take care of their children’s education as compared to the parents that leave it up to the tutors to guide the children through everything. Parental involvement in school enhances a child’s self-esteem and he/she is able to achieve more (Klepfer, n.d.). Not just that, educated parents can also improve the mannerism of their children because “the children will mimic the parents’ attitude and behavior despite whatever they learn in school” (DHRRA, 2009). Likewise, people who earn more are able to educate their children in better schools. Good education is often quite expensive. Schools that charge the parents lesser for the child’s education compromise upon the quality of education. Hence, highly-earning parents can provide their children with education in better schools. Owing to the difference in socioeconomic status of parents, all children do not have equal opportunities for achievement in school.
