Is Hip Hop a Fad Religion Different people differ in opinions when it comes to religion. In this case, considering Hip Hop as a religion is abusive to others while others see that it is an upcoming religion. Hip Hop is a religion as considered by Hip Hop artists and its fans. A lot has been written and said about this that it has become a religion in itself. It is viewed as something that offers life lessons and guidelines to all its fans in all regions. They also criticize the Bible and the Koran saying that they are very old and that that is the thing that explores the spirituality in Hip Hop.

They are the sort who feel that they can approach God directly and don need to go through a religion because all that ministries d is criticize people. It is something that they believe in its spirituality and they also believe that Hip Hop will be a widespread religion all over the world in some years to come. They also believe that the time for Christianity, Judaism and Muslims is gone. They believe that this is the time for Hip Hop to come up as a religion that guides them spiritually. It is looked at as a culture and a religion at the same time (KRS-one, 321).

However, there are arguments about and against Hip Hop. It is said to be a bad culture where gangs and all sorts of criminal activities hide in. It is believed to be some sort of religion whereby they use it to talk about racism in America. It is believed to be a culture that has all sorts of evil stated in it thus there are wars fighting Hip Hop despite that fact that they want top make it a religion. It is considered a crisis because, in the past years, it has become saturate with violence and other forms of criminal activities.

Those who are against Hip Hop are putting up campaigns to fight against Hip Hop (Tricia 120). It is seen both as a religion and a factor that influences crimes in many cities in America whereby crimes are perpetuated. It is something that is received with mixed feelings as some people value it as a religion and others look at it as a moral misconduct. Hopes of making it a common religion are building up while those of fighting against it are also becoming powerful. Question is; who are right?
