I believe that it is better to give than to receive. During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to helping others whenever I could. Once I become a member of your prestigious institution I plan on donating as much of my time as possible in volunteer work. In order to find volunteering opportunities I plan to reach out to the local churches, non-profit organizations, and governmental institutions. One of the most gratifying experiences in my life occurred a few years ago when I volunteered at a homeless shelter. I worked serving meals to people in need. It was amazing seen the gratitude and positive reaction of these human beings that were going through some harsh times. While searching through the schools’ website I noticed that there is an alumni association that is doing great work in the community. I definitely would like to become a member of this student association.
