?Hate Speech, Pornography, and Obscenity: What are the limits to free speech? The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United s is not all-inclusive. Let us explore what speech is currently considered protected and what is not. This essay gives an overview on speech and its significance in life. There are various kind of speeches, most of them sometimes make huge problem between countries or president and people. The end of racism came from speech and the freedom becomes a fruit speech. The limit of speech is necessary because there are kind of speech effect the society. The freedom is necessary, but we do not like the freedom, which cause unnecessary change in the society. “Hate speech is against the law, communication that classifies a person or a group on the basis of color, disability, ethnicity, gender, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristic is regarded as hate speech.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_speech) Hate speech occur in all of countries but in different ways. There are hate speeches against religion, homosexuality, and racialism. The speech should be respectful of other people’s religion. When necessary, criticism should be polite. Hate speech cause a lot of problem between people, countries, and religion. If anyone espouses Christianity, Islam religion or any other religion, we should respect his/her opinion. If someone chooses to be a Muslim, someone will tell him that all Muslim kill other people or Muslims are barbarian and terrorist. That is wrong since not all Muslim kill other people, but the question is (Why the people kill others?). There are various causes of hate speech. Two of the leaders were linked to incitement and distribution of the Nazi propaganda. This is kind of Hate of speech and it caused deaths of many people in the world. In the same way, the racialism was huge problem in United State. The Black people lived miserable lives due to hate speech. They were lived with people who hated them and they did many kind of the callousness. In addition, they were not getting their rights, in other words they were enslaved. The commercials do not care about pornography and its effects. They care about their money and the ways to get more money. Sometimes, they show pictures and films have contempt for women. Moreover, men learn violence and force women to do sex as shows depict. “What is obscenity? It is not synonymous with pornography, as most pornography is not legally obscene. People’s opinion is significant for the government and for the other people. We cannot develop our country if we do not listen to people's opinion without interference. They can say idea through any media whether by write, TV, or radio. Most of great countries have freedom speech. The government and people listen for their voice, what they need, what they criticize and reasons for their criticism. If any person or government said this is our country we should not criticize them since, they too are citizens. The country belongs to all people and, not an individual’s property. Everyone has the right to say his opinion and idea to develop his country and make it great. Countries without freedom of speech are backward. They need ideas and criticism to develop their country. On the other hand, there are people who do not like their country for various reasons. Firstly, they use free speech as a form of reputation. They like fame and all the people say this it is good. In most time, such people are not sincere for their society. Secondly, such people incite the society against the government, wanting to make revolution against the government. They do not see what happen for the country’s future. The people will kill others and the country will be in anarchy. For example, the President of Oman killed his father to become the president but people did not like it. There is huge administrative corruption in Oman and they have no free speech. On the contrary, the United State changed their Constitution act of 2005. “The ACLU vigorously defends people’s freedom to choose their religion under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. They can also display their religion’s symbol on their grave. They are minorities of religion, but they live in same country and they should do what they want, like other people in the country. There was a religion called PERA that wanted to remove religion symbols from personal gravestones. All those people died in protest of United State, it did not matter if they had different religion. They were Americans and, they lived in same country like their fellow citizens. That was good change on the religion Act since it changed racialism. It stopped aversion between the people. They have same disaster and their father or brother died with same cause that will make people who come to same place together. Both limit to free speech and protect speech different between country and others. There are countries, which allow free speech and no limit of free speech. In the century, many countries do not allow free speech. Some of countries do not allow all kind of speeches. For example, in Saudi Arabia we have a good president and he care about his people’s need. He works hard to develop his country to greatness, but the voices of the people do not concern him. There are selfish people working in the government and, they are looking for their own benefit. They do not care if the country or its future. They are little people, with enormous jobs in the government. They arrest anyone who voices his/her opinion and remove any good parson work with government. Now most of people know them, Twitter and Facebook has disclosed their play without their knowledge. On the contrary, In America any one can say his/her opinion without bother. It does not matter if the opinion is against the government or no. That is freedom speech and not speech protection, the criticism is allowed for all people. Moreover, there is no place for racialism, all the people have right to do their ritual religion. That should be in all of countries in the world, racialism is dirty and unwanted. Following this further, there should be protection of speech and free speech. Most time independent countries are independent of their tradition, religion, and people. For example, in past all kind of hate speech was allowed, there were many hate of speech against the black people, but know it is prohibited. That made hate between the people. In the past, people supported some kind of speech and incitement against others. In conclusion, freedom speech has different meaning between countries and people. I consider it independent for mind of person, religion, and traditions. We should have deep thinking for speech and people. What does our speech will do for us or for the future of our country? I do not like Hate speech and Pornography speech. I do not understand obscenity of speech as well, but I think we need it sometimes. Similarly, I support the freedom of speech that has limit.
