The Role Of Nursing In The Solutions Of The Smoking IssuesMethodology1. Research Aim The proposed research aims at determining the role of nursing to promote the teaching of smoking cessation amid the individuals in resolving issues associated with the same. 2. Design and Settings2.1. Design A quasi-experimental design will be conducted in order to assess the importance of education for the individuals addicted to smoking will be taken into the consideration for the assessment. Moreover, quasi-experimental design will be conducted in the treatment group and control group observation will be conducted for evaluating the effectiveness of nursing education amongst individuals (Polit & Beck, 2013). 2.2.
Setting This research study will be mainly conducted at healthcare centre of the US. Correspondingly, the reason behind the selection of the hospital is that the healthcare centres in the US is notified to have vast diversion and a large number of subjects, which can provide an opportunity to put quality care to the individuals available herein.3. Sampling ProcedureIn relation to this particular research study, sampling method will be selected as the approach for the data collection to ensure reliability and validity by enduring the research in the real environment with reference to data collected from the selected participants.
Moreover, in order to conduct the research and address the importance of nursing education in smoking cessation, the template will be designed in order to input all the necessary information of individuals habituated to smoking. In this regard, as affirmed above, different healthcare centres will be selected for ascertaining the research objectives. 4. Survey TechniqueThe particular research study, aims towards promoting education in the individuals who are addicted to smoking cessation and assist them by presenting valuable information regarding the various ill effects of such habit.
Thus, the questionnaire survey will be conducted for the sample size of 200 individuals, which will include 100 in the study group and 100 in the control group from different healthcare centres of the US. The fundamental reason behind utilizing this approach, as methodology to collect data was to draw appropriate conclusions in alignment to aforesaid aim of the research. Moreover, in order to derive the ultimate research aims, certain questions regarding age, gender, marital status, education level, the period since they are addicted to smoke and any education sessions attended or not will be framed.
Nevertheless, this data will significantly assist in providing a detailed view on the way they perceived education. 5. Sampling Framework This particular study will be conducted through random sampling framework to collect all the necessary information and analyze those accordingly to provide effective education to the individuals. 6. Number of SampleCorrespondingly, in order to draw upon a valid conclusion regarding the role of education in smoking cessation, a survey method will be utilized in the study for collecting primary data.
Besides, the survey will be conducted among 200 samples admitted in healthcare centres of the US. 7. Chosen Population Sample Correspondingly, 100 individuals will be included in the study group and the remaining 100 individuals will be included in the control group. In this regard, the selected sample will belong to different age categories. Hence, it can be affirmed that the prior reason in conducting the research study in target group that it will provide major insight in relation to the effectiveness of the counseling and education for improving or reducing the smoking habituation and its various ill effects. 8. Data Collection Techniques In this context, it was worth mentioning that the secondary data will also be utilized in the research study, which will be gathered by reviewing lately published researches in the related subject matter, through the assistance of journals, articles, reports, and online sources among others.
On the other hand, primary data will be collected based on the assessment of individuals of two different groups, i.e. experimental group, in which effective education regarding smoking cessation will be treated and control group, which will not be provided the education.
