In this line the nursing proposal offers guidance or a plan of a particular research study which can lead to generation of results that would be added to the new knowledge base. Since research is a systematic process of inquiry with an aim of building knowledge in a given discipline, my nursing research proposal will be of great benefit as it will help in building knowledge in the field of nursing and by doing so it also contributes to the evidence- based nursing practice (Keele, 2010). The barrier as discussed by Adams (2010) regarding utilization of research and survey is one which is being experienced at the institution as well (Adams, 2010).
