Pathopyhsiology1 case Study Pathopyhsiology1 case Study The case scenario indicates that Mrs. J’s BP is 90/58, whichis well below the normal level (hypotension). As J’s body is strained by lower blood pressure, her heart tries to resolve this problem beating faster. This is the reason why J’s HR is 118 and irregular. Due to the increased heart rate, she feels if her heart is ‘running away’ and she cannot get enough air. Here, the nurse must try to raise J’s BP immediately by using medications.
a. IV furosemide (Lasix) is administered to J so as to treat her congestive heart failure.
b. Enalapril (Vasotec) is administered for the treatment of J’s chronic heart failure.
c. Metoprolol (Lopressor) is given to J to make her BP normal and thereby treat heart failure.
d. IV morphine sulphate (Morphine) is administered to treat J’s pulmonary issues and allay her anxiety.
2. Cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, hypotension, coronary artery disease, and abnormal heart valves most likely lead to heart failure. In case of hypertension and hypotension, medication can be used to maintain blood pressure at normal levels. Nurses should “keep nitroglycerin available for immediate use” in order to prevent the development of heart failure in case of coronary artery disease (Nurses quick check, 2008, p.207). Patients with abnormal heart valves have to be advised for immediate surgery.
3. In order to avoid issues associated with multiple drug interactions in older patients, nurses may ask patients about the details of prescription drugs abused in the past. During the course of medication, the nurse should closely monitor patients for the complications of multiple drug interactions. In addition, the nurse should perform all possible procedures to identify the prescription medications abused by patients earlier.

...?Gruner’s Conception of Humor and Aggression in the Present “My point is that humor consists of basically two elements: one is conflict, contest, competition, aggression, hostility, or whatever synonym you wish. ...? MGMT311 Week 3 Assignment of School MGMT 311 Week 3 Paper There are many topics that are psychological in nature that can helpunderstand how different styles of management work. For this particular paper, the three factors that have been chosen are learning styles, Frederick Herberg’s two factor theory and stress. These three factors are important because they all can affect the way an employee acts or reacts to any situation. As an example, employees have different learning styles that can influence how they take in information and process it. The idea of auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles shows how an individual reacts to different types of information. Maslows Hierarchy of Needs Theory

...Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs Theory One of the theories leant is the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory. This theory denotes that people have various motivational needs that an organization must satisfy. These needs are ranked in a hierarchy of five, and the organization must satisfy all of them. The first need is the need for survival, followed by the need for security. Other needs are desire to find love and belonging (social needs), the desire to have status and self-esteem, and the need of self-actualization (achieving ones goals and aspirations). Environment

... The recent history of eroding our natural resources and devastating our environment has led us to the edge of a national disaster. Our unchecked development has scarred the landscape leaving little more than wreckage in its wake. The air we breathe is being poisoned as we ease standards of pollution in a misguided attempt to jump-start the economy. Our water supply, food supply, and rivers are all falling victim to our overzealous need for speed and greed. Even the farthest points on the planet are not immune. Business has lobbied to roll back the current environmental laws and it is time for business to take responsibility and be held financially liable for the destruction of an environment that belongs to everyone. WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT YOU'VE LEARNED FROM THIS CLASS

...What’s the most important thing that you have learned from this The most important thing that I’ve learned from “Foundations for General Education and Professional Success” has been how to conduct myself in an education institution. I never would have known the vast resources that are available in the university library. This course has helped me to work out what sources are reliable and what are not. My knowledge about how to cite information has also increased. Before I took this course, I hardly ever used sources in any of my papers, and if I did, I did not cite them properly as I should. I know understand that this is like stealing someone else’s information and not using it as my own. Any author whose ideas I use must be cited so... the most...

Russians, who were not living in Russia, were not influenced by the Avant-garde movements that affected Europe.
