Cardiovascular DiseaseIntroductionCardiovascular disease can be categorized as a group of diseases in which the heart or the blood vessels are actively involved. Most of the countries are confronted with increased occurrences of cardiovascular diseases these days. Owing to such heart diseases, thousands of people are found to die each year (Andric & Vuletic, 2012).Summary of Findings of ArticlesAccording to Boivin (2012), heart diseases appear to be one of the grave issues among the African-American women in the United States (US).
However, the article also asserts the fact that these heart diseases can be prevented by means of introducing certain changes in the lifestyle. Therefore, it is considered to be significant for women to pay attention towards the symptoms of cardiovascular diseases. As observed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (2011), it is considered quite necessary to prevent the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Numerous forms of interventions have been discussed in this article such as lifestyle intervention, risk factor intervention and preventive drug intervention.
According to the study conducted by Muhamad, Yahya & Yusoff (2012), it has been noted that one of the most feasible ways to minimize cardiovascular disease incidences is by increasing the adherence of women towards a healthy lifestyle by educating, detecting, screening and treating modifiable risk factors as women fail to practice heart-healthy behaviors on a continuous basis. As per the study conducted by Andric & Vuletic (2012), it has been found that low level of motivation and hostile personal characteristics in relation to unsupportive social environment poses an impact on the health behavior.
The stated factors further lead to harmful health outcomes which triggers unfavorable influences upon individual’s motivation and social environment. According to American Heart Association (2011), heart disease is the main cause behind death among women in most of the developed as well as developing countries. Validity of FindingsIt can be mentioned that in every article, the methods and tools utilized was found to generate similar results in various circumstances. The mechanisms related to the study which was utilized in all the articles proved successful at adequately evaluating what it was supposed to measure.
Conflicts in ResearchIt can be stated with reference to the above context that although there have been differences of emphasis as well as interpretations, the basics of medical ethics was deciphered to remain similar across all the cultures. Gaps In ConclusionMost of the studies were observed to be focused upon the degree of occurrence of cardiovascular diseases among women. However, the articles failed to identify the risks of such diseases along with the resolution techniques within men. Applicability of Findings to Clinical IssueThe findings obtained from the articles can be easily applied to the clinical issue.
One of the major clinical issues in the recent times has been the identification of strategies to minimize the risk of several chronic diseases. The research findings will aid in the preparation of such strategies. The outcome obtained by the clinical team in all the articles will act as a reliable guide towards the management of future patients. The findings can also be effectively utilized by the healthcare practitioners in order to identify the risks involved with such grave issues. Furthermore, the findings can be easily used for conducting future researches.
ConclusionCardiovascular disease is considered to be a grave issue in the present day context and women tend to increasingly suffer from such disease. Therefore, it is considered significant to focus upon various strategies to minimize the risks of such diseases. ReferencesAndric, A. & Vuletic, S. (2012).
