Add (Add (Add Autobiography This admission essay will prove that I am a perfect candi to be selected fornursing program at the esteemed Hampton University. The details of my life’s ambitions, my skills, and my experience will prove that I possess the right attitude, skills, and knowledge to be a nursing student at this admired university. In fact, from the very beginning of my educational life, I have been keenly interested in helping the needy and the ill. Along with my regular high school responsibilities, I engaged in various community activities too.

In my 9th standard, I worked for the Star Light Foundation in which my responsibilities were to help set up activities for the children who are diagnosed with terminal illnesses. Also, I even brought consuls such as Nintendo Wii’s and Xbox 360’s to help the patients relax. At that point of time, I realized that I possess the skills and attitude to be a good nurse. I think I have to mention my leadership skills at this juncture. In fact, I was a Beverly Hills High School cheerleader and a La Xtreme All Stars cheerleader.

That means until my 9th grade, I performed well in studies, extracurricular activities and community service, and I was getting more and more aware of my affinity towards helping the ill and the needy. However, things changed considerably as I had to move with my family to the small town of Los Alamitos where my education did not go well due to family problems. My mother had to struggle hard to keep the family going as she was not college educated. Still, I tried my best to overcome the issues and came up with a 3.1 GPA. Thus, I was on the facility honor roll.

In the new town too, I continued my voluntary service, and this time, I worked for the Knott Care Center. There, I helped the elderly play games like bingo, and the service was honored with the ‘volunteer of the month’ award. By this time, I was very sure about the future path I had to select. Evidently, my future lies in helping the needy and the ill as I derive a lot of satisfaction from the service. Also, being a female from the African American background, I have seen the troubles my mother had gone through to bring her children up.

So, it is my life’s ambition to get accepted in a major university. As everybody knows, Hampton University is one among the top 10 universities, and the university is famous for its open attitude towards the African Americans. Also, the well-experienced and friendly faculty of the University makes learning a pleasurable experience. I have boosted up my studies, and secured all A’s and one C in the 11th grade. Also, I have got enrolled in ROP which covers medical core, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, medical abbreviations, medical assisting, front office, and CPR.

Now that I am fully ready to start the Nursing program at the esteemed university.
