As such, VBM was noted to indicate that this style is instrumental in achieving the identified goals of the Nursing Department and therefore, reflects either positively or negatively on her performance according to standards that were explicitly set. This style was deemed helpful in the leader’s success through generating positive responses from the clients (patients) and creating a conducive and productive working environment that is instrumental in achieving customer satisfaction and manifesting high quality of patient care. Explanation on the Rationale for Choosing Each Individual Leader The three leaders, in their respective roles and positions, were selected to be interviewed for the reason that each of them exhibit a different leadership style.
