Chinese modern nursing started its evolution in 1888 when the first formal hospital was opened in the town of Fuzhou, located in the Fujian province. Chinese medicine has been molded by numerous Western initiatives from the missionaries in the 19th century. Particularly, nursing schools and missionary hospitals comprised 32% of the complete nursing population in the country. The American influence was profound since it was one of the principal in the region doing major investments. Individual teachers and nursing professionals were the key players in the realization of the early modernization of nursing in the country. Ireland on the other hand was the last developed country to incorporate nursing into the university. The nightingale model of practice influenced nursing in Ireland. Since the profession was seen as subordinate to the needs of the healthcare services. The prerequisite for development in nursing education was acknowledged in a number of Irish administration policies. The decision to revolutionize the system in the country saw the Irish nursing system come to parity with countries like the U.S. and New Zealand. However, the decision came because of profound factors of the political, economic, and healthcare system and the edification of the professionals who worked in the system.  The reforms were called for due to the significant development in the country during the second half of the 20th century. Conversely, the country's entry into the European Economic Community forced more reforms into the nursing system in the country. Current System of Nursing Education in comparison to China and Poland

The current situation in the education of Chinese nurses is a result of the recognized disparity in the education provision of the country and other developed nations. The government is focused on the upgrade of the country's education programs to lift the condition of the country's education prospects. The current system lacks the maturity the competence of secondary nursing graduates to provide adequate patient care. However, the curriculum is unique in that it incorporates the TCM with global nursing education.

Irish curriculum is facing significant education reform through the process of affiliation with institutes of higher education and changing their organizational structures. The curriculum is now changing and dictating the direction of the edification paradigms. The system has moved from the basic support leveled structure into the educationally led programs and experiences. The entire curriculum is now evidence-based and requires flexibility, progression, development, and uniqueness. Unlike the Chinese system, the system is still under the reform period and new structures are constantly being designed and developed.   

Post-GraPost-graduateduate (Master) Education in contrast between China and Poland

In China, the government offers the postgraduate system is being reinvented into the desired system. The system has a postgraduate master's that goes on for a period of three years before completion. The admission is done through a competitive national examination. The system is strict towards the master’s programme in order to produce very competent students after the proprogramgramme. They set up a very high requirement bar to promote the brilliance of the system. Conversely, Ireland was the last country in Europe to incorporate nursing into the university. The difference in the masters is the fact that China has more strict rules forthe admission into the curriculum. Ireland has the program in their system.

In conclusion, the two countries vary in different takes of the nursing system of edification. The most intriguing part is the Chinese system that has different integrations of the medical practices.
