The influence of parents to these children is a significant part in their provision of medication. According to the NIH Public Access (2011) parents with children with T1D have been assigned the role of home nurses. This scenario is more rampant for parents with children below the age 8. At this age a child does not have the psychological strength to endure the psychological and physical stress associated with self medication. This fact has made parents very significant figures in ensuring children are in the proper psychological strength to undergo this medication. The significance of this research is also based on educational purposes. Analysts argue that parents are in need of proper handling skills to their diagnosed children. On many occasions parents undergo much stress in trying to understand and handle the responsibility that come sun aiding small children in administering insulin. In this article, effective sources have been cited and analyzed to show the outcome of the results done on the research problem. The used source for reference help in directing the research problem wave that is aimed at addressing and changing the modes in which parents are educated in handling their T1D patient children (NIH Public Access, 2011). The depth of the problem has been put into perspective by considering the number of causalities medical institution handle in terms of bad handling of diabetic children. Additionally, the depth of the problem was analyzed by the number of parents and children who enrolled in the coping skills training programs (NIH Public Access, 2011). Another objective of the research was to provide possible solutions to the problem. The solutions were based on the number of positive results from these suggested solution strategies. For instance, one significant strategy is enrolling in CST programs (NIH Public Access, 2011). This particular strategy is significant in helping both parents and children improve their way of handling their medication provision modes. The other objective of the research case was to show the impact of the recommended solutions. This is effectively done by a proper data analysis technique. The data provided in this particular research gives an insight of how significant CST programs are in improving handing techniques in parents with children diagnosed by T1D. Additionally, the article compares the results and significance of group educational intervention for parents and CST programs. The comparison is then projected in data form on the most influential strategy by ensuring parents have the most effective handing skills for their children. The general objective of the paper was to provide an insight on various methods of enhancing parents’ coping skills and the significance and effectiveness of each method implemented (NIH Public Access, 2011). The framework used in this particular research problem is effective and clear enough to provide a clear insight of the effectiveness of different coping skills. In generating the working framework, the author came up with a strategic framework from creating a background on the problem, highlighting the objectives of the paper, the method of measurement of results and collecting date, analyzing the data collected and discussing the most suitable recommendation to be implemented (NIH Public Access, 2011). Additionally, the frame work is also based on proving that group based interventions for parents of children with T1D reduces the effects of treatment management improve the way they cope and they quality of life. The validity of the study design is supported by research instruments based on the reaction of both patients and parents. The first instrument was recording the effects and significance of disease related variables. These variables are collected form medical records of the diagnosed children. Additionally, the metabolic control was assessed via the use of HbA1c (NIH Public Access, 2011). This particular instrument has a history of displaying quality results and it very reliable. This fact made the facts presented by the article valid and significantly reliable. The validity of the article is made effective further by the demographic presentation of the information provided by the parents. Additionally, the article analyzes the diabetes responsibility and conflict scales. This is a self report measure designed to evaluate the distribution of T1D related responsibilities for parent and child. These reliable instruments have increased the validity of the claims by the article (NIH Public Access, 2011). The data collected in the article were double checked and double entered for accuracy purposes. In comparing the data on the importance of handling diabetic conditions, the data collected compared the results from both CST and group empowerment programs (NIH Public Access, 2011). The data collected was also based on factors in the demographic front. These factors include age, gender, location and proximity to a quality medical institution. These factors created a vast collected data range that provided a real perspective of the real situation in the ground. In the article, the data provided is free from bias since the comparison made on both the CST and GE were based on all the demographic factors in all strategies. In creating satisfactory perspective on the research problem, the data collected focused more on recorded information from parents rather than children (NIH Public Access, 2011). This fact made the date collected remain connected to the research problem rather than creating a wide range data based on unnecessary sources. The article mainly aims to provide a perspective on how well to implement a coping strategy for parents. The results recorded showed that parents undertaking the CST programs coped better in diabetic situations than parents under GE programs (NIH Public Access, 2011). Additionally, the results also showed that with the inclusion of these strategies to family setting greatly reduced the rate of misunderstandings in families regarding diabetic issues. The ethical aspects of the article were strictly adhered to. The subjects in perspective in this case were children suffering from T1D. The children’s welfare was effectively addressed since all the measures taken and recommendations made were focusing on how well children can be assisted in the administering of insulin (NIH Public Access, 2011). The objectives of the paper were clearly achieved since the recommended programs to enhance coping in parents yielded positive results.
