The film was written by Douglas Stewart and directed by Taylor Hackford. These are the major personalities whose work led to the emergence of the thrilling, emotionally tasty and mind jogging film, An Officer and a Gentleman. This film was set up and staged in America. It depicts a story of a US Navy Aviation officer who engages into conflict following disagreements with Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant. This was his personal instructor in the Aviation Officer Candidate School.
