Teacher: A Rammstein Concert Music is the biggest or one of the biggest human inventions ever made in humanity, throughout millennia and centuries. In every era, and every country, there are different kinds of music, representing culture, history and social changes each time. Music in general has changed our life, and it can direct human thought, and mood depending on the kind of music and circumstance. Man has evolved throughout music and has become more productive. Of course every country has its own kind of music, linked to culture in a direct way. During sixties (1960s) quality of music all over the world had escalated, since Quality music was being produced, according to the social conditions, and culture as well as rhythm of living in every society. Each kind of music represents something else. While during sixties, there used to be live bands, thus live music, in clubs mostly, after 1980s, mostly disco, pubs, were in fashion and hence same. Of course, live music is always much more attractive to anyone, and bands exist of course nowadays, in clubs but also giving concerts. All known singers and bands of the world, such as England, France, Brazil, USA, and in many other parts worldwide, who have had registered music in tapes and disks, have many times given concerts, and some of them became a myth, throughout concerts, even to other countries, and have gathered to much money. Plus an opportunity, to get more famous, and people in more (live) contact with their quality and music style, bands with singers more or less known all over the world even locally have left unforgettable moments to public(s). Everybody knows Beetles, Platters in the ‘’60ties, and a bit later Rolling Stones, In my country, during sixties, there had been many singers and bands giving concerts, who have remained unforgettable and sometimes, the same songs have been sung by other newer singers and less known ones. However, new and modern bands have been playing and giving concerts. The last concert I have been was a concert of ‘’Rammstein’’, German group in 1999 at St. Paul, USA. This was a really successful concert that will remain unforgotten to many people that were there on that day. So, I remember, after few years, of very nice memories of that day, June 2009. The concert was organized in Roy Wilkins Auditotium in plain air, and I remember we had bought tickets man days ago to be able to attend. Hundreds, not say thousand people were gathered, to attend something of modern German culture. I remember I rather had good surprise; nothing was unexpectedly in a bad way, and the concert was given at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Then I had a seat for the whole time. The concert was generally as I had expected, but much more intensive and lively. So, it was the first 20th of June 2009, when I really got to know from close the modern German culture, by a band that had set up all electronic instruments perfectly: Guitars, drums etc, and they were all dressed in shiny leather costumes, that matched to the light on the stage and made them more ‘’bright’, and impressive in terms of appearance But when also they started playing, they gave the impression of true professionals, reproducing German culture in the best way possible. The lights on the stage had flash, and some tricks that enhanced the attention of the crowd more, by really enhancing the quality of the concert as a whole. It was a splendid concert that day: Exactly same scenery as one would expect, from a band of beginning of 21st century. Lovers of the past decades also, such as 60’s and 70’s, could equally get satisfied, since the whole atmosphere included something of that era indeed! There were too many people gathered over there, and the stadium was full. Same pictures as that time, thus many little children with their parents had joined, and also may adults, who wanted to experience something new and exceptional!. The team was wonderful, not just a live band but indeed an Alive band in all means. The singers were singing too lively and in a very good mood, as this kind of cheerful music requires. The whole band was in harmony, and managed to imitate many other well known teams of music of the last decade, or the last two decades! The band was well organized, giving out and offering t real German music, of quality! It was homophone in all terms; all members seemed to participate in equal terms thus make a perfect symphony, and coordination. When the singer sang on his own, it seemed that all the rest of members were singing also, while they were just playing. The public was enthusiastic! Little by little all people participated in their own way, and everybody, was paying too much attention, by looking constantly towards the band, although this kind of music does not require such thing, like theater and cinema. Monophony was combined to polyphony as players started singing some time, along with all people there! The band did not stop a moment, it was too crowded, and all people there had surrounded the band, and metal lovers seemed to have one of their best experience so far! Members of band seemed really to live intensively what they were doing, they played in passion, and my ears, were overwhelmed with rhythm of songs. Singer had a very correct voice gong along with sound of instruments by the other players. Coordination was perfect among them, and they spread everywhere a feeling of ecstasy. The whole environment, was too romantic, and created a feeling of really being somewhere else, and not in ‘’this world’’. Really a heavy metal paradise! You could hear all instruments together in perfects ton, and also every single instrument on its own within the whole band. Body movements of singer and players, were matching the ton of music and kind of songs without losing their coordination or their organized way neither of playing nor even for a second! Most important and remarkable was moment of crescendos, when the whole performance escalated in terms of timbre, and monophony of singer in regard o crescendo! Then nobody seemed to get tired, by playing in this intensive style for hours. Upon crescendo, singer seemed to be dedicated, and have too much zeal for what he was doing! His body movements along crescendo showed that he was indeed too concentrated also, and was striving to give the best to the public! He thus contributed to giving us something more than any other concert, and reaching crescendo, one could see that the single and the whole band deserved to get famous like other well known teams such as Rolling Stones in the ‘’70’s,thirty five years ago! Then the scheme all the time was in perfect harmony: Polyphony-monophony-polyphony/polyphony-crescendo, and so on. One could notice that the singer as well as all other members were passionate about this kind of music, and caused kind of ‘’delirium’’ to the public. German heavy metal music is music of modern German culture, far away from having a tone of Nazi, as it was hard rock music. Just another culture, German modern culture, and something different of course’ singer and the whole band, seemed to be identified by all means with this rock style culture and what it represents, was incarnated in the performance of this Rammstein! The band played many songs, and concert had lasted in this way more than 2hours without pause! When they had a short pause for 10 minutes, all other people encouraged them to play more. Then shortly song orders came from people there, and some songs were played again! Everybody enjoyed till exhaustion! When the concert was over, I went home after a while. When I slept that night, there was still same music in my ears, and I still experienced the same scene, for long! Work Cited Rammstein.
