Charles Darwin is beyond doubt the foremost figure in evolutionary history, not so much of the originality of his ideas, for they had already been largely anticipated by his predecessors, but because of the abundant proof with which his statements were accompanied, based on thousands of careful observations extending over a long term of years. (Lull, 1947) The Theory of Evolution reveals the outstanding intellect, exceptional observation and unique foresight this renowned naturalist had been blessed with.
Based on his deep insight and vast observation, Darwin submits to state that the species have to make imperative changes in their actions and behaviour, according to their environmental alterations taking place in their surroundings, which consequently bring enormous changes in their mental and physical characteristics. Hence, only those species survive which maintain the capability to accept and embrace the transformations in their surroundings. Consequently, Darwin was declared as the pervert, by the religious circles, who had been deviating from the religious belief prevailing in the England of his era. Even then, Darwin’s theory won great applause all over the globe, and still it is considered as the highly supportive argument for the future studies and researches.
