Since the primary goal of the rehabilitation program is to bring the patient back to the normal course of life and to encourage active physical engagement in controlled outdoor activities and social mingling, it is imperative for any medical authority to devise a comprehensive set of plans that would serve both collectively and on individual levels (Medscape 2009). This is particularly important for hospitals or private clinics where a large number of patients are supposed to get medical attention.
Now this article attempts to give a macro level description of a pulmonary project which I intend to take up in order to resolve the deficits of general rehabilitation programs caused by lack of exercise training. It might be noted that my project broadly deals with both the behavioral and the physical appendices to cardiovascular ailments. However, the area of focus is on physical exercise training and its application in medical centers and hospitals that are equipped with good, state-of-the-art infrastructures.
Following the acceptance of the proposal, I would like to see my project get rolling in terms of finance and implementation. Studies on pulmonary rehabilitation have always highlighted the need for proper and scientific physical exercise training. Traditional therapeutic measures often give the impression that the patient is being provided with increased healthcare facilities that encompass family education, psychosocial behavioral directives, exercise training, and post-treatment reporting (Medscape 2009).
In fact each of these measurement indices is extremely important for the overall improvement of the patient.
