This aid differs from that is given to people and this knowledge can save the life of many pets, that it why in this paper I will discuss the help that must be given to an unconscious cat. Cats are very nosey by nature, they move fast and can appear in very unexpected places, that is why they can easily get in trouble and become unconscious. These quick animals can be injured on the traffic road or fall through the window. When a cat is already unconscious, the next state is shock. It is very important to know how to help the animal before you get it to the hospital. One should read the instruction before he starts taking any measures, because wrong actions can lead to undesirable consequences. If the heart is beating, I would do artificial respiration. The artificial respiration for animals differs much from that for humans, because it is done through nose, not through mouth.
In order to do it, it is necessary to shut the animal’s mouth and keep it shut by lightly holding the head of the animal. Then I would blow into the cat’s nose. While blowing, it is necessary I should see animal’s chest moving; - If I know that the cat is angry and can be dangerous, I would muzzle it before taking to hospital to avoid injury. However, I would do it only in case of a real necessity. It is not desirable to muzzle an animal with breathing difficulties; - I would get the cat to the hospital as soon as it is possible.
On the way to the hospital I would keep doing artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation if necessary. Also I will hold the cat’s head lower than its body in
