One should pay attention to remain focused, to the point and be absolutely sure about his progress during the task or activity that he is asked to show. If a person listens clearly to what he needs to do in the future activities and how his role would influence the whole of the group, then obviously it becomes easier for this group member to carry out his particular tasks and objectives. One of the most basic reasons for paying attention stems from the fact is that the people who are being given the briefing can be taken to task if they are caught not paying attention.

This means that they could be punished for their acts as well as fined or even banned from attending the briefing process as well. Thus, within a briefing process it is very significant to remain disciplined and maintain one’s composure so as to show solidarity with the person delivering the whole briefing process. The key word here is of being disciplined and this is something which cannot be compromised upon no matter how bad the circumstances turn out to be. More than anything else, if the person is not disciplined and serious enough to listen to what the person delivering the briefing is saying, then there is no use whatsoever that this person has to be there and make himself count for no reason at all.

It would be better that this person remains in the cafeteria of the office and serve him with something that would quench his thirst or kill his hunger. However on a more serious note, he simply should not be there if he is not paying the much needed attention. Responsibility is also a significant aspect that comes under the notion of paying attention during a briefing process since if this person loses out on the vital information at the time of the briefing process then there are all the more chances that he would not succeed and nor his company or group that he is bound to remain committed towards, both in the short term as
