Through the media, such as social media and the television or newspaper, people around the world have been made to understand that terrorists are Muslims.

The fear of interacting or rather mixing with Muslims has led to the isolation and physical abuse of people wearing hijabs (Elawawadh Web).2- Lack of knowledge. Girls wearing hijabs do not have the knowledge of why they should wear hijabs. They do not understand the benefits or even the meaning of wearing the hijabs (Asser Web). There has never been a proper legal framework or even organizations that can support the girls wearing hijabs (“BBC News” Web).C- Solution 1- Girls wearing hijabs should be well taught on the reasons behind wearing hijab. They should understand that it is a command from Allah and that it means good to them.2- Proper institutions and legal framework should be put in place to protect girls wearing a hijab (Syed Web). Schools and other public places need to protect people wearing hijabs by introducing stern measures to punish any form of discrimination or physical assault.

3- Media should act as the number one messenger that promotes hijab-wearing among Muslim girls (“BBC News” Web). They should bring in Muslim sheiks and clerics as well as leaders who support girls wearing hijabs.Conclusion Wearing hijab is a command from Allah and it plays a major role in maintaining integrity and respect to a Muslim girl. Girls wearing hijabs should be respected and treated as equal to those who do not wear hijabs.
