She had a heart of caring for her siblings despite the tough situation which she was undergoing as a girl. In as much as knew nothing or had any previous history of motherhood, Mary undertook the role with seriousness. Teenagers her age always fear motherhood, but for Mary’s case, she was willing to take the role of being the mother to her siblings (Judith 98). In conclusion, her devotee to motherhood is what made her siblings survive through the hard situation that they encountered. She managed to maintain the family framework in place despite the loss of their parents.
