C. Economic problems: Unhealthy way of life increases sick-leaves and it results in misconducts in companies, insurance costs etc. II. Healthy food is cheaper for consumers, therefore more money remains in savings, living standard increases, healthy way of life can be (and should be) example for further generation, it means much healthier and tough people. A. Health improvements: decreasing of major diseases connected with digestive and blood-vascular systems, people become more tolerant to other types of sicknesses. B. Economic improvements: better rate of health will decrease costs for insurances, sick-leaves will happen rarely and healthy people means healthy economy. Brainstorming NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF THE FAST FOOD All people know that with bad fuel car will drive for two or three meters then it will be broken. So the people are, people’s fuel is food and bad food can cause problems with proper digesting, since the organism is system of systems, malfunction of one will ruin others. Proved fact that abusive eating of fast food, results in problems with health, decreases savings, cultivates improper way of life and disregards of healthy food. Failure of digesting system (diabetes or obesity) results in the problems with locomotor and endocrine systems and it can lead to fatal outcome. Healthy food provides enough energy for proper functioning of organism and human body remains healthy. Spreading of fast food concept can critically affect the society. Increasing of fast food institution taxation will not have result, such institution will raise costs for favorite American food and they buy it even for enormous prices, it will make people from the low-income class feel last hold slip ping away. One should use other methods of impact; however, such methods will not be discussed in the present paper. Rate of people suffering from obesity and diabetes is constantly sky-rocketing. Understanding of what is healthy, and what is not will help people to fight killing diseases. It needs fundamental changes, and not only in the government, more importantly to change mentality. Society should eradicate the concept of eating-on-the-run. Health problems connected with the excessive fast food eating The most precious thing in human’s life is health; nothing in the world will help to return health. And junk food is strong means to deprive the health. It will definitely cause health problems: obesity, problems with stomach and liver, lack of vitamins, therefore decreasing of immunity, state-wide rate of health constantly decreasing and in the result – Economy collapse. It means that health problem of individuals will affect all state. It should be underlined that fast food is definitely harmful due to the excessive amount of fat, calories, carbohydrates (Brindal 111-117). Healthy food also can cause problems, however people can cook food that is proper to his/her needs. Nutritionist can prescribe some certain diet and people can watch it and keep the organism in healthy state. Considering ingredients used in fast food, it’s hard to know what cookers used, during its preparations, therefore it can include products restricted by the diet. Moreover, some people have allergy to some certain products and their consuming can cause serious problems. Comparing fast food and home cooking food healthy effect of the home food is obvious. Food Calories Fat McDonald’s Big Mac 560 33 grams Medium-sized McDonald’s French fries 370 10 Medium-sized McDonald’s vanilla shake 700 20- Total for one meal 1,630 calories 53 grams       Burger King Whopper with cheese 760 50 Medium-sized Burger King French fries 370 25 Medium-sized Burger King vanilla shake 650 30 Total for one meal 1,780 calories 105 grams       Compare that to a meal prepared at home: One-half of a roasted chicken breast 140 7 grams Medium-sized baked white potato 120 0 Half a cup of green peas 60 0 8-ounce glass of 1% milk 100 5 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce 100 0 Total for one meal 520 12 grams Consuming of high amount of fats has fatal effect on the health, one should carefully consider time that he/she will spend for cooking and negative effect of the quick fast food. It is served quickly; however it kills quicker than cigarettes (Williams, 350-360). Social problems of state wide consuming of fast food Wide consuming of fast food can cultivate unhealthy way of life that will decrease state-wide rate of health, children also adopt such way of life and will give to their children, etc.; family institution suffers from using of fast food instead of home cooking food. We can consider the spreading of fast foods like a virus of obesity and diabetes. And this virus will spread in such state of affairs, because families encourage eating-on-the-run way of life. Young people get accustomed with consuming of bad food and take it through all their lives. In the result, USA will face global people’s illness and Economy collapse. However government should better propagate healthy way of life, Economic influence on the fast food restaurants also can be useful. Economic problems of state wide consuming of fast food Unhealthy way of life increases sick-leaves and it results in misconducts in companies, insurance costs etc. However, economic problems not often considered by the studies of negative effect of the fast food, from the wider perspective, we can underline such problems. People with obesity are fatigue and often ask for sick-leave. It reduces performance of the industry and it results in economic problems. POSITIVE EFFECTS OF THE CONSUMING OF HEALTHY FOOD Healthy effects of the home-cooked food Healthy food is cheaper for consumers, therefore more money remains in savings, living standard increases, healthy way of life can be (and should be) example for further generation, it means much healthier and tough people. Supporters of the fast food concept claim that people don’t have time for preparing food and therefore, in the pace of the modern cities – fast foods is the only solution. However, it is not so, as they claim, there are fast preparation products, which require few minutes for preparation in the oven, people, who don’t have them can use gas to defrost vegetables. (Seymur 108-136). Social benefits of consuming home cooked food Every human is part of the society and it works as one organism, failure of some part will result in malfunction of entire organism. Virus of obesity should be eliminated, because it ruins society, it forces it to cure intractable diseases, and moreover consuming of fast food can lead to long-term illnesses. Sick society means low performance, sick children and sick future generations. Cultivation of healthy way of life will eliminate such problems. Society is sick for drug addictions, alcohol addictions, smoking, as it is. One more addiction will not make the situation better. So, society should fight it from the very beginning. Or just make children to forget about such type of nutrition. Then, current fast food generation will pass away and new generation will be free of this addiction. Economic benefits connected with consuming of home cooked food Positive effects on economy are rarely considered, however they matters a lot, regarding USA economy it must present some concern. Economy will be better, if people would consume home-cooked food. Though fast food business is quite a good contributor to the national budget, consuming of natural food will make nation healthier and therefore, industry performance will be much higher. CONCLUSION Examining both effects of two types of nutrition the most popular in the USA, we can state that the home-cooked food is better and the best solution for the nation. It is so, due to the three main reasons: health, social and economic. There are many drawbacks in consuming the fast food and they also affects the people’s health, social wellness and economy of the USA. Speaking about the health, home-cooked food is better for the whole organism, and it will make people’s well-being better, it will help to avoid critical and sometimes lethal diseases. General health of the nation will positively affect the well-being of the whole state, as opposite sick nation is disaster for economy and society. Regarding the social well-being, consuming of home-cooked food will make society healthier, making it better, government can issue bills to make fast food restaurants’ life harder to cut their development, then, with the help of successful propaganda of healthy way of life new generation will rise without the fast food and society will be totally cured. However, consuming of fast food will cultivate bad way of life and new generations will be worse than last. It is society’s problem and it should be solved. In spite of the claims of people, who support fast food, society can overrun problems with lack of time, being accustomed with home-cooked food. Economy well-being of the nation does not depend fully on the various food consuming, but sick nation cannot produce much products, cannot bring more money to the budget. Without the adequate performance industries will be collapsed and it will significantly damage the economy.
