Reaction to "let the right one in" Alfredson and Lindqvist have managed to sacrifice the value of the narrative for fear and horror. But, they have one effective instant of conventional suspense when Oskar strikes back against the bad children during a school lesson for skating. Two young girls are horrified at the violence, but their shock is exposed to be caused by something different, a revelation that is spring-loaded to the screenplay by a previous event. The movie moves viewers to believe the death of a character is about to happen (Alfredson 3).

The title of the film, acknowledged as a reference to Morrissey, talks of believes that a vampire cannot enter ones home if he/she has not been invited in. The author and director of the movie shape the trope into something different: an expression of commitment and love. Eli is in love with Oskar but need an invitation to his life. When Oskar refuses to give her an invitation over the threshold to the flat of his mother, her emotional pain is shown horribly when she sheds blood from her ears, eyes, and pores: It is haemophilia of rejection.

The vampires have an obsession with blood. Although the film is full-blooded, love folklore in its own right, the movie is primarily a moody. At times, the movie is a gruesome horror story that factors in different standard mythological aspects: scorching sunlight, inhuman body odour, sleep-in coffins and the need of an invitation for a vampire to a home, hence the title of the film (Billson 16). Even minus the trappings, the movie could still qualify as a horror movie based on the violence habitually inflicted on Oskar by his classmates.

Reaction to "twilight movie Viewers always admire movies that can convey the tribulations and trials of high school life without resorting to mockery or parody. High school is portrayed as a season of emotional upheaval, where a person has to decide whether to engage in sex or abstinence, where familiarity is formed and broken, and worldviews carved into an individuals character. Considering the potential of the setting for some great drama, it appears as though Catherine Hardwicke, would be the right choice of director for Twilight.

The movie highlights the story of two young people who are in obsession with each other. The movie Twilight is at its best when it offers its story on the romance of high school. Almost all elements of adolescence are displayed here, the uncomfortable first meeting with your boy/girlfriends parents or guardians, the pressures in finding a date, and school lunch tables as a measure of popularity. Many young people engage in relationships even before they enter into a marriage. Regardless of the film’s fan base, I first watched the movie with an open mind.

In my thoughts, there are some problems with the movie Twilight that makes the film forgettable for people not fans of the series. Firstly, it is evident that screenwriters squeezed in many elements from the book, a contradiction of many films. It may be understandable since fans may have spent many days poring over the details and words from the entire trilogy of Meyer. The issue is that in an endeavour to please the fans, the producer sacrificed the logical flow of the overall narrative of the film (Spencer 12).

Whereas most sections of the film centre on the romance between the two leads and its complications (Edward finds the scent of Bella irresistible and must hold back from consuming Bella’s blood), the last third launches a conflict and its resolution appears hurried in comparison to the unhurried pace of the other parts of the film.Works CitedAlfredson, Tomas.
