What is pre-incident planning and how can it improve safety in your community?The collected information helps community members in making decisions aimed at saving lives and property. It is a significant tool that helps in reducing the occurrence of risks in communities when utilized properly by companies, emergency agencies, and firefighters. The importance of pre-incident safety is to ensure that relevant information about an incident is gathered and delivered to emergency personnel’s to help them respond quickly for the benefit of the community.

  Explain employee wellness and how might you improve your own health and wellness?The success of a business is highly contributed by employee wellness. Employee wellness can be defined as a condition by which one is able to make his or her own choice (Baicker, Cutler & Song, 2010). Wellness helps employees to recognize their significance in the workplace through improved self-esteem, self-image, and well-being. Additionally, it helps employees recognize the potentials within themselves, reducing stress build-up and boosting morale.

Both the employer and employees feel the benefits of wellness. Attending wellness programs would help in improving my health and wellness. This is because wellness programs offer education on how one can keep his/her body in good condition. It will help me recognize in-born potentials and how I can utilize them to avoid stress. Additionally, I can improve my health and wellness by focusing on what I want to achieve and setting achievable limits without strain. How do you manage stress and anxiety at work and personally?

Stress and anxiety are major challenges experienced in the workplace. Dealing with these conditions requires the understanding of human behavior, which can be studied by observing ones reactions towards various conditions. It is possible to manage stress and anxiety at work by taking employees through a wellness program (Maslach & Leiter, 2008). Personally, this is achievable through attending various training and treating other workers with the consideration they deserve to avoid conflicting situations.
