Due to the factors of increased market competition, globalization and different workforce advancements ultimately have generated huge need for maintaining an efficient organizational culture within a business organization. The organizational culture assists the business organizations in making innovations in their business strategies as well as products, coordinating effectively amid the organizational units, enhancing cross-cultural management, developing teamwork support and sustaining workforce diversity management successfully (Baker, 2002).

Company OverviewMcDonald’s Corporation is recognized to be one of the foremost foodservice retailers in the world which possesses over 33,000 local restaurants that serve approximately 68 million individuals in a single day in 119 countries. The organization has focused upon various areas that include delivering quality products to its customers, ensuring sustainable management of supply chain and maintaining their environmental responsibility in order to make constant improvements in the upcoming years (McDonald’s, 2012).

Visible Organizational Culture of McDonald’sA visible organizational culture often involves the policies, values, procedure manuals and organizational charts of an organization. In this similar context, the imperative business values of McDonald’s include depicting dedication to offer incomparable levels of cultural values to its employees, offering better quality service as well as cleanliness to its large base of customers and most importantly performing its business operations with integrity and honesty.

The other noteworthy business values of McDonald’s include its commitment to the working personnel of the company by delivering various attractive opportunities in terms of rewards, ethically conducting business operations, growing the business more profitably and striving continuously to enhance in order to attain more profitability in the long term (McDonald’s, 2012).From the perspective of the organizational culture, it has been viewed that McDonald’s holds a sturdy organizational culture.

Due to its strong organizational culture, the organization has enjoyed overwhelming success in comparison with other competitors in the world. One of the imperative facets of McDonald’s is that it is well known worldwide for the deliverance of standard menus to its valued customers with outstanding product quality. Moreover, the organizational culture of McDonald’s is recognized to be a universalistic outlook in which the organization has focused upon a few significant aspects such as standardization as well as global incorporation while operating business functions (Scribd Inc., 2012). The supply chain management of McDonald’s which especially focuses upon 3E’s that include environment, ethics and economics ultimately have affected the business performance of the organization.

In this regard, McDonald’s deals with its supply chain management by working with direct providers or suppliers who share the vision as well as the values for making the products sustainable. Moreover, the organization also desires to restrict the spread of various agricultural diseases that would help it to attain maximum financial returns along with competitive position by a considerable level (McDonald’s, 2012). ConclusionAfter acquiring a brief idea about the importance of organizational culture in business organizations, it can be stated that the aspect of culture plays a significant part in the business performances of the organizations.

McDonalds’ focuses upon its different values that include the 3E’s i.e. economics, ethics and environment that ultimately affect the business performance of the organization and have contributed towards making it one of the most renowned and outstanding foodservice retailers in the world.
