Islamic Programmatic Change Muslims have in cooperated positive changes into their religion. Previous generations have planted seeds for Islamic future for the next generation through social, political, and cultural transformation. They have done so through example, altering mindset and mentality of Muslims using a valuable Islamic system that involves education and persistence. Principled Muslim advocates of democracy and human rights activists argue that, if Muslims only view liberal freedoms as Western values, Muslims can never accept them. Moreover, if faced with a stark decision between Islam and human rights, they will definitely choose Islam. However, Muslims should explore the following issues in order for them to attain programmatic changes. To begin with, Muslims deploy a Marxist analysis that discourages Marxist discourse and that never allows exploitation of common citizens by anonymous current changes that include market forces (Karam, 16). This appeal can enable Muslims to fill the gap or vacuum left by the country leading to a more conservatism characterized by situations where people know and trust each other. They create circles where everyman is responsible, change any mentality of assault, and resolve problems that act as an obstacle to Muslim’s social prestige. Identify and observe their wealth and fight to get back of those marginalized by the republican ethos. Muslim community should also consider viability in order to attain the change that they aspire. They should uphold the effort to integrate what they view as unacceptable yet compliant in other communities as their weakness and in the meantime act to implement it. For example, they should continue to uphold the importance of dialogue and a high level of understanding in areas where the society requires women’s concerted efforts. Women in Muslim societies are getting opportunities that include; rights activism, involvement in the government’s development projects, and advancing education further. These cases reveal that, the society has changed and unlimited their network to help achieve programmatic change in the society. Nevertheless, this can radically improve more if Muslim heads of state and families can invest more heavily on women and give them more opportunities that fully exhaust their energy in view of realizing transformation. Analysis show that women work for two-thirds of the world’s working hours but yet live in extreme poverty and only earn the least percentage (10%) of the world’s total income. Muslims should surpass that world margin of women in other countries and give their women total support. Muslims should dedicate their perpetual minds to rationalize other communities and make them understand the importance of Muslim culture that does not condone laziness, stealing, and maintains that whoever does not work shall not eat. All these virtues have seen tremendous changes realized in terms of economic development in Muslim world for the past few years. In addition, Muslims have fought a furious battle to deter infringement of their culture and subsequently maintained the power of economic growth. They now view programmatic change as a way to transform and conquer the rest of the world through exemplary leadership, equality, and enthusiasm to live a simple life. More programmatic changes would require Muslims to enhance fundamental economic strategies set in place. They should enhance prerequisites for social stability like solidarity and honesty that contribute largely to economic stability. Some Islamic principles foster ability to invest. For instance, Muslims practice principles that do not allow banks to charge interest on their customers. Therefore, people can apply for loans and start businesses that can help them stabilize their lives and foster economic growth though relatively equal income per capita across the completely Muslim world. On the other hand, allowing banks to charge small interests on loans would lead to economic growth in the whole world, as it is a fact that Muslims are the pillars of economic development. Besides analysts and scholars view, my own perspective of whether Islamic world is in surge of clashes with the West or otherwise will depend on various aspects. First, Muslim’s teachings are holy and cherish sanctity. They do not allow vogue language but the West use unpleasant language on them. The West envy Muslims’ tolerance, power, and peace. Then, due to their greediness and fanatics, the West co hearse Muslims and in return disturb their peace and harmony. This enlightens Muslims about the unfair side of the Westerners. There is only one rare point of agreement between the two; Westerners believe that Muslim nations are more economically prosperous compared to them due to streamlined measures they underwent. Muslims took industrialization seriously and with a lot of zeal hence achieved industrial revolution at a vast pace. Since the West seeks to dominate the world as opposed to Muslims, the latter concentrates on fighting to eliminate corruption, educate their citizens, and remove whatever acts as an economic development obstacle. The West cannot stand their idea thus; they keep on colliding with them. Furthermore, the division between the two was evident and clearer through responses concerning the cartoon depictions of Prophet Muhammad that caused uproar between the two. Many people in Jordan, Indonesia, Turkey, and Egypt blamed the depiction on Westerners. Since Muslims respect Prophet Muhammad, there is no way in the world would they do that! Therefore, it is logical to think that the West extended its rudeness to matters pertaining religion. In my view, this is very unacceptable and such offenders should face severe punishment. The world’s largest Muslim nation is Indonesia. It predominates with responses that violent conflicts between the West and the Muslim world are inevitable. This is because, today, Muslims portray Islam as a religion of peace and tolerance while Westerners paint Islam otherwise. Fact-finding enlighten that, Muslims provide not only the West, but also the rest of the world with hard-core technology rarely found in other countries. It is true that Muslims has the best infrastructural knowhow compared to the West. It is not easy for a super power to accept lack of technology, therefore, people in the West import labor form Muslim world and try to claim it is theirs. In the course Muslims find themselves in misunderstandings with the West and as result, they breed clashes. Examples of other unpleasant things from West towards Muslims include; some writers from the West mocked Muslims by writing, where there is smoke, there are Muslims. Same writers translate this saying that, until a country embraces Islam, Muslims always consider it a battlefield and once through with the conversion, all of that nation’s citizens are either dead or driven out. This not true and sincerely speaking this is true mockery of both religion and culture of Muslims. Muslims have sought to remain calm as religion disobedience is a sin hence Allah will determine their punishment. Personally, I believe that is a great formula of settling disputes. Other people in the West believe that, Quran has its inspiration from Muhammad whom did not know how to read or write and no one knows his last name. if I may ask, is there anywhere does the Bible mention that Moses knew how to write? Then why would someone criticize God’s prophets! It is certain that, Muslim community in surge of clashes with West but for a due cause. Notably, the West have always had hidden agendas behind the attacks it launches against Islamic world. Sources argue that, the war between Americans and Iraq did not involve activism for human rights, but it involved forced extraction of natural resources. When Iraq realized Americans hidden motives of exploitation, it retaliated and America’s cries to call for dialogue shuddered as President Sadam Hussein ignored them and vowed to fight for what rightfully belonged to his country. What the Westerners impose in the name of good, Muslims view it as way to use them. Hence, it is of no doubt to think that the Islamic world is in clashes with Westerners. In conclusion, it is evident that Muslims clash with the West not because they believe in war, but because the West has done nothing but cause them series of inhumane actions. America uses technology gurus from Muslim world in most of its labs, armament industries and in many other places where they cannot perform. How do they pay them? By launching missiles against them in fear to keep Muslims suppressed so that they can never over power them. It is true that clashes between the two will need a miracle for them to cease.
