Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows - Movie Review Example

One of the prime plots of the book is that Harry’s friends Ron and Hermione along with Harry realize that they cannot go to the Hogwarts back, so they settle down there and intend to finish Dumbledore’s unfinished efforts on finding to hunt and destroy Voldemorts remaining Horcruxes, objects in which he has hidden parts of his soul for the purpose of being immortal.In this process, they isolate themselves from each other for the security of themselves and their friends and families as well.

They have little knowledge of the whereabouts of the remaining Horcruxes and invest all their energy in the hunting and gathering of such items. Meanwhile, in the whole process Voldemort takes over the Ministry of Magic and now is a major threat to the survival of Harry and his friends.Voldemort along with his followers attacked Hogwarts later on, and this is when Harry steps in along with his friends to defend Hogwarts from getting burned down by Voldemort. Several major characters get killed and it is Harry and Voldemort finding at the end for the ultimate winner.

Harry and Voldemort now engage in a final climactic battle for the winner of the war. Harry reveals that because he willingly sacrificed himself to death by Voldemort's hand, his act of love would protect the wizarding community from Voldemort in the same way the sacrifice Harrys' mother made protected Harry. He says that he had to sacrifice in order to let the wizarding community live in peace and harmony.During the final stages of the war, Harry refuses to use the killing curse on Voldemort and instead wants Voldemort to feel remorse for his actions so that his souls are purified and restored.
