The film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is about Harry Potter and his close friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and their objectives of destroying the evil Lord Voldemort. The setting of the film is at Hogwarts with the main event being the uptake of the ministry of magic by Voldemort. In addition, the replacement of the good people with the evil wizard is an issue of concern. The last battle between Harry versus Voldemort ends in the destruction of Voldemort. However, in the film, Harry Potter learns of wrong actions taken by Dumbledore and the positives of his character. They rebuilt the trust of Harry Potter in the process because they reveal the actual nature of Dumbledore in the film. The film is based on the heroism of Dumbledore, Harry Potter and his friends.
I borrowed the concept of heroism from the ancient Greek mythology which creates personality who is immortalized. From the analysis of the film, the heroism depicted is antagonistic heroism because there are two main characters, namely protagonist Dumbledore versus Antagonist Harry Potter. We display the antagonistic heroism in various traditional and modern literatures. The character of Harry in the film depicts heroism in the support of the good and not evil. It depicted dumbledore as the mentor of Harry although the series occur after the death of Dumbledore. The sidekick heroes in the film are the friends of Harry, namely Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger (Woolf). They support the chief hero in the play are essential in solving some of the puzzles of the film. For instance, when Harry is attacked by Voldemort, Ted Tonks, who cures both Hagrid and Harry (Rowling helps him). The heroes in the film are the Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. However, as the title suggests, the chief hero of the story is Harry Potter and the desire to have a friendly society. I made antagonistic heroes in the world through the support of good and the shunning of evil.
However, some antagonistic heroism may lead to tragedy as depicted in the story of Mrs. Dalloway, which shows the desire for freedom and social guidance (Hawthorn 23). Dalloway views the action of Septimus of suicide as an act of heroism. Septimus in his marriage does not have feelings due to the bombshell accident. In fact, he feels that he is alone and not loved, which leads to a serious mental problem. Someone does not receive positively the confinement in a mental hospital because of being out of touch. Therefore, Septimus commits suicide because of loneliness. The survival of trauma was the major alienation factor in the life of Septimus. Clarissa supports the action of Septimus, illustrating the power of isolation and contentment (Woolf 56). Similarly, Harry’s action of saving Hogwarts is an act of heroism, but it is not tragic heroism. The modern literature and films present heroism in various setting including psychological platform as presented in Mrs. Dalloway. The challenge in tragic heroism is the understanding of the plot of the film or book.
We presented the universal theme of heroism in the different stories such as the Beowulf in which the hero receives praises for winning the fight and thus develops a social concept of heroism. During the last duel, Harry does not use the killing curse, but encourages Voldemort to feel more remorse, which is a way to restore Voldemort’s shattered soul. However, Voldemort dies when his killing curse backfires against Harry’s disarming curse. The Death Eaters are destroyed. The Magic world is able to live in peace at the end of the film. The plot outline depicts the success of the heroism in Harry Potter and. Order of the Phoenix arrival in the chapter sets a moment of internal conflict and sets up a fast-paced action sequence, including the flight from the Dursley’s house. Scenario addresses the dangers posed by Voldemort and illustrates the strength of Voldemort and the desire to pursue Harry.
