Outcomes Outcome Based On NAEYC Key Experiences NAEYC The NAEYC of ethical conduct puts forward guidelines responsible for behavior and brings forth a common basis of solving the principal ethical dilemmas encountered in early childhood care and education. The NAEYC identifies that people working with young children face daily decisions that have moral and ethical implications. The code focuses on the daily practice of the children and their families in programs for children from birth all the way through 8 years of age.

The NAEYC has four sections which include the ethical responsibilities to children, ethical responsibilities to colleagues, ethical responsibilities to community and society and ethical responsibilities to families (A position statement of the National Association for the Education of Young Children 1).Ethical DilemmaEthics is a branch of philosophy that explores the nature of moral virtue and estimates human actions. Ethical dilemma (also known as moral dilemma) is a complex situation that often involves mental conflicts between moral imperatives.

It is regarded as a situation where moral teachings or ethical obligations conflict in a way that any possible resolution to the dilemma is morally intolerable. It is a situation that guiding moral principles cannot determine which course of action is wrong or right. Solving an Ethical DilemmaEthical problems come in three flavors that include cognitive, volitional and social. When solving ethnical problems certain views and actions have to be followed which include analyzing of the consequences, analyzing the actions and making a decision on what’s right and wrong.

Analyzing the ConsequencesBefore solving an ethical dilemma some factors have to be followed like the consequences of what will happen, who will be helped by your actions and who will be hurt by the decision. Weighing out all possible the options on how to produce a good solution to the dilemma. ()Analyzing Of the DecisionTaking all the options into considerations and evaluating each one of them from a different perspective. Conducting an investigation on how the actions that the options will bring out or whether the options are up against more principles like fairness, equality, dignity, respect and honest.

Making a DecisionAfter analyzing all the actions and options, one has to take both parts of the analysis into considerations and finding the possible ways of arriving into major decision. Ethnic TheoriesThere are various ethnic theories that include the consequentialism, situation ethnics, legalistic moralism, ethical realism and ethical hierarcialism. The consequentialism suggests that an action depends on the non moral consequences that an action brings out. Legalistic moralism states that there are pluralities of norms which cover an area of human experience.

Ethical realism suggests that when norms come into conflict one must decide which to follow. Situation ethics states that decision making should be based on a middle ground that includes absolute love, general guidelines and particular moment.Laura Rivera’s Ethical DilemmaTyrone suffers from a behavioral disorder called Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
