The paper would also be made to focus on the main purpose behind its creation along with what are the main objectives of such a law. Having analyzed the main rationale of the creation of capital punishment, the paper would then focus on how much the implementation of it is efficient in fulfilling its purpose. At this point it would also be made to focus on whether there are any other alternatives to achieving the same purposes. It would also then take up on determining how much this law is prone to errors and in case of an error, how much is it accommodating in terms of restitution.

The paper would then be made to shed some light on how much capital punishment contributes in eliminating the evils that it was made for. It would also then focus on more intricate aspects of this law such as the moral and ethical issues related to it and would also propose whether the application of it is truly justifiable and acceptable along with what kind of message does it send. The primary purpose of the creation of the institute of capital punishment is to punish those convicted of crime along with the abolition of the evils from the society for its protection.

Its bottom line basically constitutes the end of the life of the criminal by the any of the various procedures for the murder as proposed by the jurisdiction (Rein, 2004). In terms of capital punishment fulfilling its true purpose, it can be said that it full fills its duty of punishing the accused of the crime committed along with eliminating the possibility of him doing such crimes ever again. When it comes to the practice of capital punishment for the protection of the society, which after all is its first and foremost purpose, we do see that there other alternatives such as imprisonment which can serve the same purpose of the protection of society, punishment and keeping the evils at bay.
