The ECR manufacturer was responsible for selling problematic machines in the market. They must ensure the quality of their products before selling them in the market. They cheated the hospital management by providing defective instruments.

The hospital management failed to purchase good quality instruments. They failed to take necessary precautions while purchasing products for saving the life of patients. They failed to value the importance of human life and made their purchasing decisions not based on quality, but based on a cheaper price. In that sense, they are also culprits in this case.

Nursing staffs and anaesthesiologists have nothing to do with this case. Nurses just obeyed the instructions of the doctor while the anaesthesiologist is responsible for any problems related to the anesthesia given to the patient.
