Spiritual revelations of all the divine incarnates is one and the same, for they speak from beyond-the mind level, where bliss alone, the Eternal Light alone, revels. That perfect state transcends dualities or confusion. All dogmas are related to the mind-level understanding of the humankind. Perfection is not possible at this level. One has to cross the barrier of mind. “ All dogmatism has this in common, that they are clothed with a certain authority. Naturally, the basis of this authority differs. Scientific dogmas have the authority of the axiomatic or self-evident truth. Philosophical dogmas deserve their authority from the generally admitted arguments by which they are established. Political dogmas are clothed with the authority of the government by which they are decreed. And religious dogmas are based on divine revelation(either real or supposed), and are therefore authoritative.”(Louis, p.18) But revelations are unquestionable and are beyond the scope of arguments and counter-arguments. The essential difference between religion and spirituality needs to be understood. Spirituality is all-embracing for the entire humankind. If one turns the pages of history, they are daubed in the bloodshed related to conflicts between the different religious communities. “Hence this should not introduce God as an object about which man must speak, but as a subject which addresses man, and to which man must respond.”(Louis, p.11)
When one talks about man in relation to God, the first question that arises in ones mind is the justification for the existence of an individual. Being born and to walk up to the grave is not the real purpose of life. “Christian religious faith is faith in the regeneration of man who is alienated ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Philosophy- Does God exist

...?A long time ago, a friend of mine wondered much about this God whom people always told her about. I told her that He was an all-powerful, all-knowing and all-good God. “But where is He?” asked my friend. “He is everywhere.” I answered. Dissatisfied with my answer, my friend asked me as to how I am so sure that He exists. And so I began to tell her about how I was introduced to a the philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas. ...to elucidate matters pertaining to God (Hoyle, 1983, p93). From scientific point of view, we as human beings exist freely in nature and we are made of various compounds, such as water and other structural compounds and elements that have been indentified by scientists (Morris, 1967, p 90). By the virtue of our existence, it is clear that we all originated somewhere. The Biblical point of view holds that in the...

We want a treatment for some medicine and we go to the doctor. All of this is done purposefully because we have a belief that when somebody tries, there is an outcome. So we tend to approach the right people for the task at hand. So this is understood that there has to be a...

Moreover, if God made a decision of revering Himself to the world in order to attest to his existence, there would be no need for faith (Adamson, 2013). This paper focuses on drawing necessary ideas from literatures in order to support the notion that indeed God does exist. Arguments Scientists have an assertion that the universe was developed...

Does God Exsist

...that everything that exists must have an ultimate origin. Aquinas states, "Since nature works for a determinate end under the direction of a higher agent, whatever is done by nature must needs be traced back to God, as to its first cause." Nature and evolution may be a suitable explanation for certain natural events, however nature does not explain its own origin nor does evolution explain the origin of existence itself. As for The Death of Ivan Ilych, the story can be read in two ways. It can be read as above, that life is meaningless and therefore there is no God.
