Introduction Globalization is the term that can be used to describe the uniformity of the countries through specific aspects of the economies around the world. Although globalization does not only pertains to the economic condition of the world but also to other smaller aspects, economy has been the main focus of this perspective as it determines the living condition of the people in the world. Globalization is the way on how people are gathered together, not literary though, in order to act as one with the same goals. For specific areas, globalization plays an important role most especially in combining the forces of technology, politics, culture and the economy. It is commonly centered to the economy of a country in order to build a globalized and a more unified way of improving the economy of the world. The integration of businesses into the world market is also seen to be one of the most important parts of economic globalization. The role of business in globalization serves as the main actor through trading, investments on foreign businesses and the wide use of technology for the industries. The positive impacts of globalization account for the outcome of the economy of a country. There have been highlights given to the developed and developing countries when it comes to the term. Developing countries are said to be needier of globalization to be able to comprehend with the emerging economies of the developed countries. Discussion Globalization is good for the economy because it measures the capability of a country to handle innovation through the uniformity of the processes that the world uses in order to improve and develop to a more productive country (Murray, 2006). It may consist of various ways to initiate globalization toward a certain area such as in politics, education, business and other significant key players of each country. These are considered to be the most important areas that make up globalization for an economy. Before taking up the main point of globalization for the economy, it is important to note that globalization has a widespread effect for the business world. It can be said that globalization positively marked the business environment all throughout the world because of innovation and discovering new strategies that could be applied to a specific industry which lead to productivity. Technology is also seen to be an important element of having globalization at hand for the industries today which appears to be an influential factor for developing an economy as it determines the profits being produced by an industry. Most countries today, developed or not, are now into the use of the latest technology for manufacturing and production in order to come up with the demand of the people. Also, the wide use of the World Wide Web is a very useful tool for globalization because it connects people from the other sides of the world. It makes information and communication faster and easier, hence the business operations are now flowing smoothly without too much hassle of shipping back and forth to far places. Talking about the businesses that emerge today in the world economy, the work force as well changed due to the globalized mode of hiring people and accepting employees all over the world. Opportunities in developed countries indeed help a lot for the people who seek work which will fit their knowledge and skills for the success of the company. Characterization of the workforce all over the world varies because of the races; gender, etc. are not taken much consideration as long as they possess the qualifications that the company adheres to. Job offers now are not necessarily through personal hiring but it applies to the outsourcing of people with the use of the internet. A lot of outsourcing jobs are now available over the net which can be regarded as part of the globalization (Steger, 2002). In most Asian countries, business process outsourcing is the common trend of extending business to other countries and be globalized. These outsourcing jobs usually come into the form of call centers where the clients from the foreign countries are the main customers of the employees in the local setting (Steger, 2002). Thus, because of globalization, higher salaries are paid into the employees. In a positive view, this great idea of outsourcing helps the economy of the country because it lessens the unemployed people and helps them get a job that could make their life easier. Giving opportunities to the people to have a job and be paid that matches their knowledge and skills is a great help not only for them but also to the whole industry. In other sense, globalization teaches a similar way of conducting business from one country to another and this makes a big help for simple areas like discipline in managing time wisely. As such, some countries are not paying much attention to the time and disregard small differences of being late. Generally, minutes are strictly considered by some countries and an exact time is valuable. If a business meeting would start exactly at eight o’clock in the morning, then the responsible persons should be able to meet this time in order to comprehend with the rules. Hence, this is a very good way of self- discipline and starting a simple way of governing people for a larger economy. The global market though now depends on the freedom of trading and the capital investments of the investors (Steger, 2002). The integration of these aspects is seen to be vital for the economic determinant of the society and should be carefully evaluated by the countries. Globalization is good to the economy because it enhances the free trade of the goods and services of one country to another (Reinsdorf and Slaughter, 2003). It gives the opportunities to the countries to increase its economic level and the possibilities of gaining resources for the process of development. Theories in the economy are compared to the benefits of the free trade is therefore accounted to the globalization (Reinsdorf and Slaughter, 2003). Being fully globalized may mean a free trade of goods and services from other countries with specific policies. Such details should be tagged because the essence of globalization is to maintain uniformity between each other. Although globalization receives many criticisms from the writings that have been published, it still strengthens the idea of attaining development for the underdeveloped countries and has a good economic condition. According to Thomas L. Friedman (2005), “The world is flat”. Friedman suggests that the countries should be able to give up some levels of the economic independence to its own institutions. He strongly agrees with globalization as a way of impacting the economy positively and points out that the country needs to complement with how the world changes. Modernization is also revealed to be the best way to have independence in its stronger form where in people could enjoy living in a free environment (Wolf, 2004). Basically, when talking about globalization, it depicts more on the idea of having a free trade of information, goods and services, and other, worldwide. It accounts for the totality of all important aspects that makes up an economy. Friedman is right in his book where he stands for globalization as it can be more an advantage for the people and the whole economy. Mostly globalization caters to the developing countries in order to give them chance and opportunity to have an access to the global capital. Using the global resources for the improvement of their economies will be good enough for the whole world. It will surely be productive enough for the national income as well as it will be patterned to a uniform way of running a business and a country as well. The wide use of technology somehow goes to the sense of its cultural effects but this can be considered as having a good impact to the economy. The use of internet opens a new line of communication and market to an international scene where a market is built through World Wide Web. The economy can also be profitable from this kind of transaction because the workload will be much easier to handle now that lines are open. Economic globalization has been a very vital in developing countries to gain assistance from developed countries (Reinsdorf and Slaughter, 2003). The promoters of capitalism agree that a higher level of economic freedom can be attained through the democracy and capitalism specifically in the developed areas that produce wealth materials or resources. The pro- globalists believe that the first stage of the globalization process starts in the kind of market that an economy, the political leaders and next is the cooperation of the people. It is important to consider that globalization will not be effective if not with the power of the people and without the determination to be globalized. However, some globalists contradict because of not identifying the grounds clearly when it comes to the ideologies and perplexities of the opinions. Conclusion The world today emerges in a globalized way where in countries have the opportunities to practice business in a global standard and develop a country with foreign policies. This is an advantageous perspective because of the advanced policies that are imposed through the leading organizations or countries. Globalization has increased the income of the country through its comparative advantage, it allows the developing countries to have an access to the global capital, the use of technology have been widely accepted and used by various industries, it provides jobs and opportunities to the people and it strengthens the human rights. Applying globalization on what is happening today should always be on the first of the list of the developing countries as it determines the progress of its development. Also, the economic condition of the developing countries will be more enhanced through the assistance that other large countries will extend in support with the globalization. Policies of the developed countries will be applied to the less developed countries now to know if such strategy will be good for the economy of the country. One good point though about globalization is that the terms ‘developed’ and ‘developing’ countries will be eliminated because uniformity will be imposed all over the areas of economy of each country. Apparently, the world economic market will now be generalized into one. Smaller economies will have more chances to prove their natural wealth to the world and contribute for the success of all not only for a particular niche. Thus, globalization is really good for the economy because of its numerous advantages that have been criticized by some people. References Friedman, Thomas. (2005).
