The child recalls her ordeal as to how her master treated her. They used to beat her to death every now and then. The reasons were invalid as far as the torture and abuse were concerned. The news story discusses the International Labor Organization’s estimates and the relevant research studies. It also speaks of the child prostitution which takes place when a child is sent away from home in the quest of finding enough money to feed the other family dependents. Essay: This news story appealed to me because I think those parents who have no respect and dignity left for their own kids expect nothing from life. I believe they should be taken to task since they are ruining their children’s future as well as playing with their mental psyche. This news story presents the aspect of understanding what the child wants from life and what he is given in return. More than that, the aspects related with prostitution, child labor and begging are not even envisaged by the family when they give away their children so that they could come back with some money for the good of the family. Family violence contributes endlessly to these tactics by the parents who just want to satisfy their whims and short term desires over the long term growth of these kids. The children were rushed to different hospitals as they had swallowed heroin. Fortunately, none of these were seriously harmed as the news story reported. There was a thorogh investigation at the day care center and the boy’s parents were taken into custody by the police. The parents negated the possibility of their using any form of drugs and were insistent that the heroin did not belong to their house. The police was doing its best to investigate where the boy got the heroin from. Essay: What this news story suggests is the fact that just about anyone can give a child a piece of candy and lie about its ingredients. It is the duty of the parents to constantly educate their children to forbid taking any form of things from strangers and more than that eating them up. The parents need to be on the lookout since this could easily harm their young ones and a proactive approach would be better and much more appreciated by all concerned than a reactive measure which is half way through the ordeal. Greve has focused on different studies during this story and has thus made comparisons keeping in mind different aspects like family incomes, the contribution made in its linkage and so on. Essay: It looks difficult at first when working women start their work outside and they believe that their marriages would not last long as they would fall short on the aspect of looking after their homes. However this is not the case and they have long lasting marriages as compared to the women who remain indoors and look after their homes 24/7. This must be understood by the couples since they are very enthusiastic about having kids but end up meeting hand to mouth and at times this becomes a difficult proposition as well. Essay: Marriages could only take place when there are equal number of men and women available.
