Michael Jackson In spite of all the controversies surrounding the figure of Michael Jackson, there is no doubt of his wide variety of talents as an entertainer. Jackson is one of the best dancers of all time. His songwriting is also remarkable as well as his singing. At first his acting was not at the level of his other talents, but afterwards he improved in this area. But one of his most interesting abilities in the show business is the fact that Michael Jackson is a great business man. He has been very successful as a marketer of his talents and in the process he has acquired a huge fortune.
As a result of the combination of all his talents, Jackson has been inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museums states the following about him: “Michael Jackson is a singer, songwriter, dancer and celebrity icon with a vast catalog of hit records and countless awards to his credit. Beyond that, he has transfixed the world like few entertainers before or since. As a solo performer, he has enjoyed a level of superstardom previously known only to Elvis Presley, the Beatles and Frank Sinatra.” (The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, 2001). The Songwriters Hall of Fame stated the same idea with the following words: “Michael Jacksons remarkable 30-year career has scaled unparalleled musical, commercial and critical heights. His myriad achievements include being responsible for the best-selling album of all time, pioneering the music-video medium, and virtually redefining the concept of the modern pop star.” (The Songwriters Hall of Fame, 2002).
On the other hand, the Internet Movie DataBase remarks his talent as follows in a more critical vein: “Michael Jacksons skills as a singer, dancer, writer and businessman are unparalleled, and it is these prodigious talents that will ultimately prevail over the extremely negative aspects of his seriously troubled life.” (IMDB, 1990-2006). On of Michael Jackson’s most famous quotes is the following: "Ill always be Peter Pan in my heart". (IMDB, 1990-2006).
Indeed Michael Jackson has been an outstanding success all of his life. He has won 13 Grammy Awards. He is known as “The King of Pop”, he was voted the 35th Greatest Artist of all time in Rock and Roll by Rolling Stone and he was honoured with the Presidential Humanitarian Award from President Reagan at the White House in May 1984 as a recognition of Jacksons contribution to the campaign against drunk driving using the song "Beat It" in TV ads. (IMDB, 1990-20069. In 1996 and 2000, the World Music Awards recognized publicly the musical achievements of Michael Jackson. It is calculated that Jackson has sold more than 450 million copies of records. "Thriller" is the biggest selling album of all time: in excess of 51 million copies sold worldwide.
Despite all of this, a very special feature of Michael Jacson’s personality is his humanitarian endeavours. He co-wrote with Lionel Richie the charity song “We are the World” as part of the “USA For Africa” campaign, and he also established the “Heal the World Foundation”. Besides his professional achievements, his humanitarian efforts have to be taken into account as a remarkable sign of his concerns for a better world. The Neverland Ranch dedicated to bring happy memories to many of disadvantages children is a clear example of his humanitarian spirit.

The Person and the Work of the Holy Spirit in John's Gospel

Prior to the real time events of the New Testament, the Old Testament revisited an idea which simply dictated that God was an entity and the only God was Ruah. The New Testament came with a series of events which changed everything from the cessation to offerings and sacrifices to an ideology of the Holy Trinity. Jesus is noted as being “anointed with the Holy Spirit” in John 1 32-34. This stands to reason that ther is a differentiation and somewhat autonomy between the three facets of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity is of course, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. This is essentially a three in one or a unification of the elements of God. In John’s gospel, he seemingly avoids the dramatic details of the Holy Spi...
