Research studies on the effect of smoking on the U.S. adults were available from the journal Lung Cancer. In addition, another search process is undertaken through Medline Plus created by the National Institute of Health and the U.S. National Library of Medicine also could give significant information on general information regarding the current trends in the pattern of rising/fall of lung cancer among the U.S adults. The behavior changes in tobacco use are also well represented in the articles presented in this database.

The other search efforts with the databases like ProQuest did not give the desired results. The search activity in this database did not result in any journals that carried reviewed research articles or academic papers relevant to the topic considered here.
