John Updike's A & P - Book Report/Review Example

Like a lot of short stories, John Updike's "A & P" is principally a story of commencement, as a young boy moves from ignorance or innocence to knowledge or experience. Updike shows the distinction in common between passionate desire and stained actuality, leading to a touching fall.
