Here is a twist from the feminist point of view. It is not the women treated badly here. It is a man that stands as a victim here. This is just what Escher means. He says that outsides become insides and upsides become downsides. Though men are dominating to some extent, for the past few years after the rise of feminism, we can considerably see women gaining empowerment and many young men being isolated. Then the author points out how language has restricted men in their progress. Since women are endowed with their natural power of verbal talent, many men are struggling to be competent.

The mind of the female is able to process and decide quickly and this is a great disadvantage in the part of men. Women have good language skills and they have their roles easily wherever they go. But men are slow learners and they need to work hard. Then the author moves to describe the situation of men, where we can see that they are not in a position to express their feelings and emotions to one another as women do. Men are brought up in such a way that it makes them feel awkward if they expose their feelings openly.

It is as though they lose their self-image. They are not supposed to cry as they are considered to be strong. All these views are against men's growth as a perfect individual. The author has included the example of footballer Paul Gascoigne to explain this case. Moving further, the author brings in certain notions of others. Male dominating society has brought mental instability and illness in women. The subjugation of men over women has caused much harm and as a result, they have been submissive.

They have not been valued for their personal feelings and as a cause, almost every woman seems to suffer from depression. These are the things that we understand from the article in relation to gender roles. Then the paper discusses the effect of feminism by taking an example from a recent Panorama television program in which it is clearly shown how it had disturbed the progress of young men at school. It was a simple study about the progress of young men and women at school in which it is really shocking to see that men have been left without much consideration when compared to women.

The study reveals that the girls have progressed well and the boys have landed up in the problem and it states that it may be due to the fact that feminism had raised and as a result women are considered well and men are neglected. CONCLUSIONIn this way, the paper is written brilliantly addressing the psychological problem faced by men. It argues that in the notion of empowering women, men should not be left behind. Finally, the paper concludes stating that, it is equally important to consider men's health too.

Both genders should be treated fairly and equally. This is the final stress of the paper.
